Cigar smokers rejoice, BUT.......Even though it looks like the Obama administration will ease travel restrictions to Cuba and one might assume CUBAN CIGARS will now be available to the US peasant population, you can fuhgedaboudit. The taxes on cigars will go to the moon thus negating every price savings. In addition, many of us already break the embargo and have found that the quality of the Castro-Cubans suck so badly that when you buy a box of twelve you have to assume that at least one cigar in the batch is badly put together; not smokeable in fact. A condition that drives prices up nearly $2 per stick. Secondly many very expensive Dominican and Nicaraguan cigars already equal or surpass the Cuban variety.
