ACT OF VALOR:  I went in really excited to like this movie but alas, it's really ordinary at best; at worst a clumsy student film..  An amateurish attempt at a politically incorrect view that shows our military in a positive light that fails completely due to mismatched scenes, nonexistent screenplay (things like story),  poor acting, lots of noise ("real ammo" is supposedly used instead of dialog), and a general lack of focus on theme.  Dull is a summation and it's too bad but our soldiers are brave and dedicated guys who have lost family, the joy of bringing up kids, and all social skills due to their prolonged battle immersion.  This is a bad movie.  Too bad.
