When you link to this pretentious literary output, touted as a major story by Glenn Reynolds, ask yourself if a person who is struggling, a poor person, a truck driver, welder, mechanic, factory worker, farmer, or anyone living a real life can relate to this crap. What we all need is a better economic life RIGHT NOW and anybody who wants to succeed in democratic politics in any country better address the RIGHT NOW or they will lose.

All politics is emotional. You have to hit the "gut". Welfare, free drugs, bad unions, criminal corporations, the price of gasoline, and so on is what counts. The Republicans need to be very careful about linking up with these esoteric omphilosophizers (don't look it up, means the study of one's own navel) on the Right.
