ALL OF YOU HAVE A ROOM IN THE HOTEL CALIFORNIA

CA fallacious tax argument #6009: "For every dime we send to Washington we only get seventy seven cents back." Like Duuhhh. Starting with national parks, the military, Federal Interstate Highways, airports and so on, nobody gets back on a state by state basis what they put in. CA, like every state, gets national benefits. CA problems have only to do with a special interest group on the Left getting "money" that wasn't and isn't there. CA floated bond issues, getting a gullible public to finance these handouts that continue to this day as the Democrats continue to spend. California is in deep doo doo and it will take a broad consensus to fix it. The appointment of people like Willie Brown offends many, but Brown for all his Left Wing bullshit is a professional politician who would never have risked his career when in power to spend the state into the poor house. He knows the system as well as anyone and can, for once in his life, truly contribute to solving a problem. As I have said many times on this blog, a bond default by California would have international implications, not to mention a national disaster for all municipalities that raise money through bond issues. This is not just a California issue. Like it or not, all of you have a room in The Hotel California.
