A guy to respect because he is always intellectually honest is Bill Kristol of the Weekly Standard. This is what he said on Fox regarding the Plame Affair: (my recollection)

There is a war going on between State, the White House and the CIA. The CIA bungled the intel, fed false data to State and Bush, the neo cons were pushing for war inside the White House, and this is full scale war between agencies. The CIA was clearly the source of Monday's leak to the Washington Post.
In other words we are seeing the unraveling of the Bush Administration over this deal. The woman is nothing. A zero. Apparently everybody knew she worked at the CIA. The problem still is that somebody(s) deliberately planted her name around. This is a felony. Chances of catching the leaker? About zero. We are witnessing the nastiest big time political war I can remember, and I've been around since Lincoln left Chicago. Kristol hasn't written yet, but he will and keep watching. The guy tells the truth, like it or not. Late Add it looks like people are zeroing in on Cheney's aide as the leaker as both Chris Matthews and Buchannan and Press started digging.
