Went to a baseball game last night at Dodger Stadium. Naturally I associated with an entirely different set of people than I "normally" do. Had field seats between first base and home plate ten rows back. Great view of the game and the really incredible play of infielders in baseball today. It's really hard to get a ground ball through. There is no way that baseball isn't twice as good as in the good old daze. On a night when 18,000 were at a Laker playoff game, the Dodgers had 48,000 and two concerts in large venues were sold out too.

The people around me at the game offered the general observation that they are maxed out with the coverage of the Iraq prisons. Didn't care that much about the "so-called abuse" and felt that "our guys" were being shit on.

Interesting. Let's see if the polls show it too.
