AS IF STALIN HAD WON

The politically correct movie review of all time is HERE "Kingdom of Heaven" is reviewed under the condidition that we accept every stupid statement by the Hollywood Reporter reviewer. Christians suck, Muslims have been victimized, and so on.

....a ghastly though vitally important stretch of history when Western civilization, whipped up by religious fervor and bitter poverty, confronted the Muslim world with both the sword and cultural arrogance.
Then this jerk spells out what History is OK history in Hollywood....
"Kingdom" fulfills the requirements of grand-scale moviemaking while serving as a timely reminder that in the conflict between Christianity and Islam it was the Christians who picked the first fight.
What bullshit. Islam had conquered the entire Mediterranean from Constantinople through Spain, they were threatening Europe with a religion that took no prisoners (just like now) with the usual slaughters, and the they had blocked Christians from all the holy sites. Islam was a menace to everyone who didn't surrender to Allah.

This movie will die if all the PC reviewers look at it as an unprovoked Christian attack on the poor Muslims, because that is offensive to most of us. Don't avoid the movie based on this asshole, a guy who has to live in Far Left Hollywood, works for a major Hollywood daily, and has to be PC or he loses his job. When reading the "review" see yourself in thje role of a slave to this Hollywood Leftist anti-American anti-Christian portion of our culture that demands orthodoxy. Incredibly Late Adds: (Does Stalin control our press??) It appears that this PC evaluation of the movie is everywhere, which means to me that this movie is a whitewash job of this evil culture. Front Page has done a killer job on the reviewing HERE.

It almost seems like a bunch of DNC/Move on dot Org talking points has been issued to all critics. I'm prepared to miss this picture. Reality check under "you take their money, you do what they tell you to do." I'd start with the $150mil price tag, add another 60 to 70 for marketing and you have a $200mil picture that will have a hell of time making money if the EU market is insulted, Islam kills the box office in their liberal states, or if the American Left avoids the movie. Ridley Scott and the whole crew will have trouble raising money for future movies (remember that Alexander the Mediocre grossed big time in Europe thereby rescuing Oliver Stone from complete obscurity). Big Money in the arts means big corruption. Always has, always will. All I can say about my observation is, great minds without jobs think alike.

HOWEVER, all is not lost. It seems that some very astute experts on the Middle East and the Crusades are all over this picture. One of them---Professor Jonathan Riley-Smith, Britain's leading authority on the Crusades----calling it "the Osama binLaden view of history," "rubbish", "ridiculous", "complete fiction" and "dangerous to Arab relations". He goes on to say that,"It sounds absolute balls. It's rubbish. It's not historically accurate at all."
