Just a tip: as I'm blogging this AM I have BET-Jazz channel on in the background. Hope you've found it. Race is not a consideration at all on this channel, just music. This AM they have featured Billie Holliday, Nat King Cole (singing the absolute best version of Hoagy Charmichel's Stardust ever done), and a Louis Armstrong concert from France done in 1933. Again, a terrific channel. Also old Dave Brubeck, a Djnango Reinhardt, Bruce Hornsby and two Crosby things from the early 30's before he lost his voice. Great channel. Did I mention Sinatra?? The regular BET is still racist as hell.
