THE STORY IS TRUE EVEN IF IT ISN'T TRUE

The Left was all over the tube late yesterday with the party line regarding the Newsweek "boo boo." Without exception each one pointed out that literally "hundreds of other stories about the Koran being abused were circulating for months." They all stated that at least some of the stories "must" be true, even though each is from a Muslim prisoner who went right back to terror as soon as released. Generally this was a story that had to be told, even though in this particular instance there was no evidence for the story. ABC went so far as to repeat the "fake but accurate" Liberal message for all to evaluate.

And let us not forget the purpose of the little paragraph. It was clearly to discredit our military, cause us more problems in Iraq---they will be so happy if the country falls back into dictatorship---and to continue the new communist assault on our country. The new communism is discussed HERE

Lefties were also saying that "the government" released the info on itself. All kept straight faces and all said the story was true even if the story wasn't true, skillfully trodding the little path that CBS used to defend Rathergate. Tell me again that we won the cold war, because we have a monolithic Orwellian press all spouting the same lies each and every day. The old Daily Worker has gone cyberpunk.

LATE ADD: Latest MSM party line response this AM to Newsweek story: "The White House and Government set up Newsweek just like they set up CBS. You can't deny the same things took place. There was a document. The document was shown to some people in government. It was their job to squelch the story if it wasn't accurate......." No kidding, this AM on liberal suck up, Don Imus.
