I don't believe much of what appears on Debka, but they have improved markedly over the past three months or so. There is a piece there right now about Unidentified terrorists massacre holidaymakers on Mount Qassioun overlooking Damascus that may be legit. There are other reports about conflict with Syrian troops in the same area.

.....the killers arrived in a bus and a Mercedes 520 with Iraqi license plates. One assailant, identified as a Jordanian called Ayed al-Semadi, and his relative, were killed in a clash with Syrian security men. The rest got away and are hunted. Two Syrian security men were also killed.
