While we haven't heard much about FEMA in the last few days, just wait a while for a full investigation. This posting from the Counterterrorism blog (by way of Mudville) reminds us all of the incredible mismanagement of the entire "rescue" operation. If you made a little movie out of this one the critics would call it "hopelessly contrived," it is that unbelieveable. I hope you have read my post containing the letter I received from a military guy who ran rescue ops many eons ago. You have to have people who will just do it, and risk the consequences of "breaking rules."
