THE CRB INDEX (above) IS GENERALLY CONSIDERED AN INFLATION INDEX---and as you can see it is coming down. However about four years ago or less anything over 212 was considered dangerous. Now at 312 don't for a second think that we don't have inflation.

What we don't want is deflation. inflation in the 2 - 4% range has been pretty much the norm since the end of WW2. except for the horrible Carter years. remember Carter as a cautionary tale of what happens when Democrats control Congress and The White House. so remember as stupid as the Republicans can be the Democrats given an opportunity will always do worse. Dear God, please tell us that your saving something good for us down the road beyond these clowns. Howard am I still an idiot for having fairly long bonds in GM and Ford? be honest, be brutal but don't be shy.

You must MUST always have an exit strategy for everything you own. I have never traded corporates nor invested in them because I am more comfortable with other types of risks. I know nussing
