Denmark has always had the guts of a burglar in broad daylight. Consider that after the Nazis took over their country and demanded Jews wear a yellow star of David, their King promptly marched through the streets wearing a Yellow Star of David.

Well, wish that were true but it isn't. However, the truth is even better

It's one of the great untold stories of World War II: In 1943, in German-occupied Denmark, the Danish people find out that all 7,500 Danish Jews are about to be rounded up and deported to German concentration camps. Danish citizens spontaneously make their own decision: it's not going to happen. And it didn't. Risking their own lives, the Danes quickly rallied round to save their fellow citizens, and almost all of the country's Jews were able to escape the clutches of the Nazis and find refuge in neutral Sweden.
So I'll join with (hopefully) millions of others and seek out Danish foods to buy. It takes balls for a little country to stand up to a billion nut cases. History News Channel has all the info plus a good story, HERE.

Today I learned that muslim rebels in Iraq have issued a Fatwa against the Danish troops who are there as Denmark’s contribution to the Coalition. This shouldn’t really surprise anyone, as the issuing of Fatwas seems to be the standard answer to anything the muslims don’t like.

In honour of this latest Fatwa I have taken it upon myself to issue a Fatwa of my own.

I hereby decree that due to my blatantly apparent moral and ethical superiority to the Islamic extremists the following orders shall be carried out.

All Danish companies shall hire muslims only to carry out the most demeaning and trivial of tasks, and only if such tasks are rewarded with a low salary.

All Danish Universities and places of higher learning shall only accept one in a hundred muslims, and let even fewer graduate.

The Danish Police and Danish Courts shall arrest and convict muslims in such a number as to make them disproportionately represented in the various crime statistics (Sometimes by a ratio so disproportionate that they will be more than 1000 times more likely to commit certain crimes than native Danes)

The Danish Population shall treat muslims with contempt wherever they encounter them, leaving them to feel isolated both socially and economically.

So let it be written, so let it be done. My every command shall be carried out.

Wow, my Fatwa is already working….

Perhaps a a Dane can explain this: of all the Nordic countries, why is it that Denmark seems to have sufficent self respect not to kowtow to the Islamofascist insanity?

I think partially it is in the "whose ox is being gored" category. Sweden was basically a member of the German state during WWII, proving to all that they are simply interested in their own hides; Norway actually collaborated with the Nazis through a puppet government headed by a guy named Quisling, believing that their best interests were being served; until around late 1943 when it became clear that Germany would lose. Then today we have the fact that they are in bed with OPEC, and will be til the oil runs out, hopefully tomorrow. Only tiny Denmark actually tried to do something to slow down the Nazi juggernaut. BTW, Denmark, basically alone in Europe, refused to get involved in WWI because they weren't going to fight a war over a murder.

and only
Denmark tried to stem the tide.

Well...

I checked last night and the reason that the Danes were able to get the Jews out safely to Sweden was that they were tipped off by the Local German SS police offical, who did not agree with the "final solution" policy. Further this same chap during the round up of 1/2 October 1943, specified that the police/soldiers were not to break into Jewish homes, but only pound on the doors. Not to dimminsh the contribution of the Danes, but they had a distinct German help in this. One of the oddities of WWII.
