CONSUMER ALERT: I got a recorded message on my answering machine from AT%T telling me they had changed my service and added a service as I requested. I never ordered new service. When I called customer service they told me I couldn't make changes. So now I'm in for a fight. WATCH OUT FOR AT&T

Screw 'em. Call your local telephone provider and switch long distance service providers there. No need to even talk to AT&T.

Or, call AT&T and tell them that's what you'll do if the issue isn't fixed to your satisfaction by the end of the call.

Worked for me.
