I think the GOP comeback has as much to do with the absolute bankruptcy of the Democrats as anything else. Has anyone seen so much as a single detailed plan about Iraq or anything else? I think the realization that all they want to do is impeach the president and castrate our military by bringing war crimes charges against many of them is doing them in big time. BTW the very accurate Rasmussen Reports has the GOP retaining the Senate comfortably, although Chaffee doesn't really count.
