Am I alone in being up to HERE with Notre Dame's bullshit football team? Jesus, they got blown out by the only two top ten (25) teams they played. USC showed them to be slow, without a prayer of a running back (other than their quarterback), pass receivers who couldn't get separation and when balls hit them in the hands they were as likely to drop them as catch them; and because they are so slow, if they did catch them they got tackled immediately. Michigan showed them up just as badly, but their win has been pooh poohed because it was in early September. If Notre Dame plays LSU in the Rose Bowl, look for LSU by at least 20 points because LSU is as fast as USC and slow slow slow Notre Dame will be eating grass again. Michigan-LSU or USC-Michigan would both be good matchups. Notre Dame? They should play a team in their class: San Diego State, Wyoming, or Ball State, and there is no guarantee they'd beat any of those teams either. Boise State? Boise State would be favored. One team showing keen interest in facing the Fighting Irish is the Eugene Edge Women's Football team (shown below left). They have issued a challenge to the South Bend juggernaut, but so far they have not received a reply. If you click on the pic, you will note that several of the girls are nearly 300 pounds and they list a linebacker at 285 (click twice on the picture and you'll see that they tower over their coaches). Don't look for a reply girls, maybe next year when the Irish enroll some speed. BTW the city of Eugene is screwing them so they cannot charge admission to their games next year. They are looking for donations to help pay for uniforms and field rentals. All they are asking for is ten bucks a piece.
