Why FOX News sinks slowly into the west: this AM I needed to know what was happening. The only way I could get actual news other than Anna Nicole, poor fucking Britney and other bullshit, was to surf between the two CNN channels, FOX, and Imus over at CNBC. It was from those places that I learned about the awful situation at Walter Reed Army Hospital; Tony Blair live explaining Brit withdrawal from Iraq; at least a mention of the Border Patrol Agent case; reasons for the gasoline price explosion; the threat of floods from melting snow later in the week; and the news that Jason Kidd may go to the Lakers. FOX and Friends had nothing but Anna Nicole. Ailes better pay attention to the real reason for the FOX ratings slip. It used to be sound business practices to check up on what the competition is doing, something Ailes obviously isn't up to.
