CPL. SANCHEZ: THE FAG, THE CORPORAL, OR GUTS ON A ROPE?

Nothing, well almost nothing, can get me to read most of the hate stuff appearing in Salon, but the link from Malkin re; the MSNBC trashing of Cpl. Sanchez surprised me. Salon seems to say that there are one or two lefties out there who are reacting to their own displays of hate. Doing gay or hetero (if that is actually possible) porn movies is something one does only when we are young and seeking the easy buck, if we do it at all---Me? I'm too shy. I can't even fuck a two dollar whore with the lights on (are there still two dollar whores???)--but one can't expect a movie or magazine layout to just "go away." Everyone I know who "graduated" from appearing in porn regrets their career (but not the accompanying money), mainly because there is no escaping that particular past, especially if you have kids. One exception was a former porn actress who became the biggest porn producer in the country during the late 70s-early 80s and had a ton of bucks including a Rolls. I don't honestly know how a smart ass like me would have reacted had Sanchez been the usual raving liberal when "outed.". I think I would not have reacted at all, not because of any conscious morality, it's just that nothing surprises me any more, not even a war hero revealed to have fucked a chicken in a rest room in Long Beach (fowlialtiy??). Our reactions to Sanchez are something we should all examine about ourselves. The former corporal is obviously more than a "fag," he is showing all of us that he, and we, are more than our sexuality. He is standing up to the plate, and not only defending himself, but attacking the hypocrisy surrounding the attacks against him. More and more I suspect that the Democrats will shoot themselves in the stomach before '08.
