WHAT? FIFTY BUCKS
That's what it cost me this AM for gas at the cheapest local station. I used to fill my tank it for less than $20; at the "low" my fill would cost less than $16. $20 per means that $30 of weekly discretionary spending is now going to a necessity. Translate this across the economy and you have a serious recession coming our way.

Imagine the pain the working folks are feeling! Twenty bucks more a week is a LOT OF FUCKING MONEY.
Add in the housing bubble, and there is serious wup ass coming.
