Artsy Fartsy shit for kids

During my parenthood I've attended at least 300 plays, recitals, and art festivals for kids. All of them could be classified as "cute" or fun, but never good on an adult or professional level. So I wasn't prepared for the student show put on by the Debbie Allen Dance Academy's Summer Show. All I can say is that this is a priceless experience for your kids and if you live in LA be sure you check it out. Total talent, amazingly good, and I'm judging it on an adult standard. There are all races and all ages. The choreography is top of the line and the choreographers are pros in every sense of the word. I was an actor for twenty years and my first professional experience was in a production of Carousel. I remember my amazement when I found out that dancers actually sweat. I was actually stunned. I mean it was a total turn off. All I'd ever seen was dances in movies that I didn't like very much where the girls all had great tits and were as pure as the driven snow. My second Carousel shock revolved around the staging and singing of "June is Busting Out All Over," a monster production number. All I had ever heard of the tune were band singers and maybe the show album. I couldn't believe the orchestration and the arranging for the chorus. Holy shit! So this Debbie Allen presentation contained show pieces. Ballet pieces. Modern Dance, and believe it or not, hip hop. But not the standard hip hop gangsta rap shit. All of our kids become racists because all they see are street thugs doing gang signs and threatening people with rape and mayhem. Hip hop in the hands of Debbie Allen's staff becomes spectacular modern dance. Not a gang sign or obscene gesture in the numbers. All in all a priceless experience for your kids. Check them out.

Just another way the homosexuals can get close to your kiddies. I'd rather crawl across broken glass for a turd pie than subject a child to dance lessons.
