Facts? Oh no, not them

I have posted over and over again about the outright crap that ethanol really is, that, aside of Left Wing extremists, only Carghill and ADM (grain processors) together with a few car companies making hybrids (another fucking joke) will derive any benefit at all. And today, 8/5, Rolling Stone Magazine (Lefty all the way) is finally blowing the whistle on this bullshit. Well, not that anybody who can do much reads my stuff (actually I got a lot of praise from some knowledgeable people), others are now waking up. That won't stop this insane publicity campaign for Global Warming, Global Lying, and Global Higher Tax crowd. Barrons (remember, they completely exposed the dot com bubble stock by stock as a bubble months early) is calling for a major collapse in oil prices beginning in '09 (full piece by subscription only). Prices are being propped up now by lack of production and the falling dollar. When '09 arrives you can forget ethanol and wind power, the twin pets of our polit bureaus, the hard left in the press, and the Democratic left in Congress. Keep in mind that neither of these tax sucking phony enterprises could exist even now without huge subsidies. Oil products will be so much cheaper by '09 that nobody but the Left will stay with ethanol---as long as they can find someone else to pay for it.

It takes more energy to make ethanol from grain than the combustion of ethanol produces. The lefty Cornell study tells us that, "abusing our precious croplands to grow corn for an energy-inefficient process that yields low-grade automobile fuel amounts to unsustainable, subsidized food burning." Lefty intellectual speak for "we will starve because the land will be useless in a few growing seasons."
