I monitor this site because of the literal avalanche of racist and sexist comments that I always choose to ignore. However I got at least twelve (so far) responses to my Debbie Allen Dance piece that generated the kind of comment I freeze out. But in this particular case I feel I have to respond to what may be concerns regarding your own children in a Debbie Allen Dance Troup. Yes, homosexuals dominate dance, especially the men. What you would always concern yourself with in a "camp" is the supervision, because the choreographers who are from the Bolshoi, Kirov, London Academy and so on are obviously gay. I'd only observe here that the Black male dancers were dynamite, flying through the air like fucking missiles. They were doing tricks and performing tumbling within numbers that made them exciting and decidedly masculine and not queer. The girls were of every race you can think of. Then you have to examine the product and the experience provided to the kids during the creation of the product. All I can say is that the experience of learning what goes into real dance and real musical production numbers instills a respect for the medium. My daughter attended most rehearsals part of the time (it is an eight hour per day six days per week "camp"). There were NO white male dancers at all, probably because whites consider dance to be homosexual and fear that their sons might turn out like that. The comments have included things like

"I hope your granddaughter likes n****r c**k up her a**; I bet she gobbles n****r c**k like a champion whore now;. You didn't hang around to see ten n****r pieces of shit bang her til she loved it.

And on and on and on. So guess those readers who have small children will allow them to miss a terrific theatrical experience, but only because of their bigotry. Keep those cards and letters coming, folks. They say more about you than about the Debbie Allen dance group.
