New Reasons to Hate Congress

as if we needed them. A lot of us have had the feeling that the Democrat anti-warriors quietly cheered each time a GI was killed in Iraq because the death "proved" they were correct. As the surge continued working and they risked "looking bad" they needed a different horrible situation to cheer about. So along comes the "credit crunch." Hallelujah! Every time somebody loses their home we get to be "right" again. So it is that Senator Dodd and the rest of the drooling ghouls on the left are now lining up before microphones and TV cameras to utter their latest Pagan diatribe aimed at that devil, Bush. Now lest we forget, the Democrats offered a great piece of legislation earlier this year that addressed sub prime lending, in fact they even earmarked $10 billion to add 100,000 tons of sand in Death Valley on it. It's not their fault that Bush vetoed it.

Where on earth do you get the idea that Democrats are 'antiwar'? The Democratic congress and leading Presidential candidates have made it perfectly clear from the beginning that they support the war and have no intention of leaving.

This is a strictly imperialist war with huge stakes. Both parties are committed to imperialism.

Pretty much the only way the US leaves Iraq is after financial bankruptcy and total military defeat. A bit like Hitler in Stalingrad. And Hitler failed to get the oilfields of the Caucuses either, which was the purpose of the campaign.

So go on, 'surge' into Baghdad with every last taxpayers' dollar and every last drop of suckers' (other people's kids) blood.
