By now everyone has seen the Yon photo of the Iraq guys putting the cross back up on the Christian Church. And everyone and their bastard sons has some kind of opinion about "what this means." There is more or less a roundup of stirring bullshit at the above link. Me? I don't ascribe anything other than these are a collection of guys who don't like the USA, Saddam, or anyone else who sticks their noses in Iraq simply doing a good deed. Period. A harbinger of good things to come? Maybe, and maybe AlQaeda thugs will kill them. They're dead, you say? Terrorists and murderers never tire of killing. Never. Once you experience the total power over people that murder provides nothing, no drug, religion, or economic benefit can possibly equal that rush. They are not gone. Just biding their time til opportunity strikes again.
