NEW YEARS BOWL GAMES
Rose Bowl: USC lethargic and in love with themselves; surf bums with talent they've never used. I am picking Illinois to not only beat the spread, but win the game outright. BTW the Rose Bowl committee, the white old men running the Rose Bowl, has thrown their entire franchise into the toilet by picking Illinois, a team nobody anywhere outside of the state if Illinois wants to see. Will have the lowest ratings this oldest of bowl games has ever had. Could be the best game of all the bowls because Illinois is actually very good.Cotton Bowl: Arkansas vs Mizzou depends on whether Porker super back Darren McFadden plays, which is still a
Armed Forces Bowl: On paper a great game but CAL suspended three of the best players in the USA so barring their re-instatement,
Sun Bowl: Oregon hasn't been remotely the same since Dixon, their truly great qb, went down with injury. South Florida to win outright. OREGON SHOWED US ALL HOW GOOD THEY USED TO BE BY TOTALLY TRASHING SOUTH FLORIDA. WE ALL MISSED WHAT WOULD HAVE BEEN A KILLER BCS CHAMPIONSHIP GAME HAD THEIR SUPER STAR DIXON NOT GONE DOWN FOREVER.
Chick-fil-A Bowl: Clemson (9-3) vs. Auburn (8-4)---actually an interesting matchup. Auburn in an upset. A DULL GAME WON BY AUBURN IN OT.
Capital One Bowl: super slow Michigan (8-4) vs. super fast Florida (9-3). As you can tell, I don't think much of the Big Ten. Florida.
Sugar Bowl: everybody's sentimental favorite Hawaii (12-0) vs. Georgia (10-2). Hawaii, which is much tougher than people think. Their qb, Colt Brennan, is the real deal. In fact, he may be a realer deal than anybody knows. He can throw side arm, overhead, three quarters, on the run left or right, and and.......
Fiesta Bowl: West Virginia (10-2) vs. Oklahoma (11-2). An interesting matchup only on paper. West Virginia without their coach may not even show up for long. Oklahoma to win outright.
BCS Championship: Another slow Big Ten team bites the dust to a not all that good LSU. LSU
None of the other games interest me. Go Pats.
