Way back in July I wrote that Mike Huckabee seemed like the political candidate who would most likely be left standing IF people actually listened to him. That was then and this is now and Huckabee is being listened to because he is as he was back then. He seems to be genuine. He is prepared. Today George Stephanoplis, Clinton's guy--remember?---grilled him hard. Demanded specifics on thing after thing and Huckabee handled himself near perfectly. He's got my $10 and I think he is going to win the GOP nomination, and the attacks that are sure to come because he is a Christian and former minister may actually help him. I'm in his corner, for whatever it's worth.

Huckabee is just like GWB, only he talks good.

Seriously, I cannot support a guy who supports a national ban on smoking - not that I'm a smoker, but if this were being proposed by Hillary Clinton people would dismiss it as socialist micromanagement of peoples' lives. And how about Huck's comments to the effect that we can atone for slavery by being nice to the illegals? And calling the Club for Growth the "Club for Greed?" Good god, he's channeling Kucinich or Howard Dean.

Meet the Huckster

Huckabee is just another Nanny State hugger. Same old, same old.

Crash the system.
