Duh Bowl Games and what we done learnt...
1. The Rose Bowl Committee screwed us over. It was they who selected a two (or was it three) loss team from the Big Ten to face USC and not Georgia. What we learned? Don't let these petty local yokels ever pick the bowl teams.
2. The Big Ten is just as good as anyone else and the SEC is the most over hyped football conference in sight.
3. While lots of you were impressed with USC, I was not. No long passing game worthy of the name, possibly because they have no wide receivers worthy of the name. SC simply had the superior numbers over an Illinois team that fumbled their way out of what could have been a close game.
4. Both Michigan and USC fielded the teams both thought they would have before the season started. 85 scholarships mean that injuries really can end it. BTW Oregon showed what they had besides the sidelined Dixon.
5. PAC 10's top four teams all won convincingly. The teams below the top four basically stink. The same can be said for every conference in the country.
6. It is impossible to select who is best without a playoff.
