Never Piss off a Bureaucrat

AT least one who can do things like shut down an entire country as FAA head Roger Sturgell has done with his shutdown of American Airlines. A Congressman pissed him off so he "showed them." But never fear, our peerless all seeing all knowing president supports the FAA and Sturgell, even though expert after expert says that safety was not an issue in the AA shutdown. So what pissed the FAA poseur? Why a Congressman dared criticize him and his agency. You don't do that. And who appointed this guy Sturgell? Was it Bush? Hell no, he's too busy to appoint agency heads. Sturgell was appointed by outgoing FAA head Marion Blakey. One crummy bureaucrat appoints another. And where is Ms. Blakey now? Why she's working for Aerospace Industries Association, a trade group in Arlington, Virginia that she used to "regulate." Our entire system has been corrupted in every imaginable manner and I don't know if we can fix it.
