Turkey, Part Deux

I had a long comment yesterday regarding the potential end to secularism in Turkey. Today it has been revealed that their elected president may be kicked out of office not by the military but by their Supreme Court. It also has been revealed the the military has kicked out all officials elected along with President Erdogan in '07. This is getting very serious. Their Constitution demands a secular state but at least 47% of the voters want Islam. This could get really ugly because there is no way that the EU will allow a Muslim Turkey into the ECM. This is big. Stay tuned.
