A first rate link: A commenter, Chris J, referred me to this site for a pretty simple but complete description of the credit swap derivatives market, their method of product sales, and why everyone had to know it was a house of tissue paper that couldn't withstand so much as a strong breeze. That's one of the most frightening things I've read and I thought I was on top of this thing for the past year or so. If this crap blows up the way its set up to blow up there is going to be quite a bit of violence.
