He knows finance as well as anyone and writes with an attitude of "Right, now tell me about Napoleon and the Sioux Indians beating the Mamelukes in Egypt........" In other words he doesn't believe what is on the surface. I think you will find it instructive (unlike mine) in these really foggy economic times. No bullshit guy.
