Good Riddance 2008; Fuck You

Pac Ten: just how weak has it been? After four bowl games which has seen supposedly weak Cal kick Miami all over the field, supposedly weak Arizona destroy a much higher ranked BYU, a "typical" PAC 10 Oregon turned out to be a super speedy offensive power as they surprisingly dominated a truly good Big 12 Oklahoma State; and even Oregon State, with both of their All American running backs sidelined, beat Pitt. And USC? I'm suspicious of their ranking, their qb, and their overall offence. We'll see. A note about Oregon State: the announcers were total assholes, completely unprepared, and of course spouted false data. The Rogers brothers, the two missing players, although too light to last an entire Division I season, are really fabulous and their absence killed OSU. The truth about the USC game was that these two backs reeled off twenty and thirty yard gains continuously and USC simply could not stop them. If Penn State has real speed they will give USC a hell of a time.

LSU after a dismal season won. Woo hoo. Looking forward to Miles pick at defensive coordinator. We sure missed Pelini who did a pretty good job at Nebraska this year.

USC did a number on Penn State as I expected but not enough to be proclaimed the No. 1 team in the AP poll again.

Florida will beat Oklahoma for the national championship.
