Rassmussen says "Just 53% Say Capitalism Better Than Socialism." Well not exactly. Consider that two thirds of Americans can't name the three branches of government, ninety percent can't name the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, and less than ten percent know where the North Pole is located (I have no idea how the question was posed). Most in the survey had no idea what socialism actually was, seventy percent favored "free market economy," and Fifteen percent (15%) of Americans say they prefer a government-managed economy. All in all the survey means we know jack shit about everything outside of Lohan's lesbian girl friend. However, I noted in my piece of 9/20/08 Capitalism has been effectivly dead since 1976. Then below is the latest GM "hope." It's the Sedgeway tax subsidized GM 299C which gets around 200mpg and has room for nearly nobody.
