THE NFL: THE MOST CORRUPTING INFLUENCE IN MEDIA?

Real censorship, and it is corporate, at ESPN. A show called "The Playmakers" has been ordered off their air, presumably because the NFL doesn't like it and has by implication threatened to cancel ESPN's Sunday night games for next season. And because ESPN is owned by ABC, the NFL can stick ABC with the worst possible games on Monday Night. Both the players union and the league wants this show off the air. Now. The NFL is forming its own TV network and will carry the games there UNLESS the series is pulled.

Now this is real censorship. Where are the whiners from the Left? Nowhere, because their private agenda is not involved. Where is the Right? Same place. This is the worst any of us can remember. Only NBC is free from the corporate arm of the NFL. Everything about the league is controlled. Everything. Money corrupts and too much money corrupts absolutely. The NFL will not be covered honestly by FOX or any of their sports channels (Sunday Games), CBS (ditto), ABC (monday Night), ESPN (Sunday Night) or their various cable news channels. The NFL is the most corrupting influence in the media, at least the most corrupting that we can see. How much does the sponsorship by ADM (Archer Daniels Midland) affect the way PBS doesn't cover farm subsidies? It's happening folks.
