On September 1st I posted that gasoline had just dropped below $3 per gallon around here. Today, 3 weeks later, gasoline is selling for $2.72, a drop of $.28 in twenty days is a big big drop. In fact it has dropped four cents since yesterday. High price right now is $2.89 at Mobil stations, which is a puzzle since Mobil is a part Exxon/Mobil and Exxon is selling at $2.73. Let's all hope this lasts.
