Sports???or outright corruption on the Pacific Ten circuit. The refs gave, and I mean GAVE, two games over the weekend to the CBS darling UCLA basketball team, one which will gather high ratings during the Final Four Tourney. Something is super wrong here. There was a foul called with no time left in the Stanford game which everyone looking at the "foul" is of the opinion that there was no foul. The resulting foul shots tied the game and with Stanford guys fouling out, UCLA won. Today with UCLA behind with almost no time left the CAL Bears absolutely positively fouled so as to deprive UCLA of a game winner----but no foul was called. The result is a phony record that guarantees UCLA a number one seed. This is as corrupt a conference as one can imagine with officiating that clearly favors a "famous" team that will generate high ratings in the NCAA Tournament. And leave it to Brent Musberger to slobber nothing but praise on a corrupt game. I live in SoCal with relatives attending, teaching, and alumni but I hope they lose, and they probably will if the officials ain't in the tank. As bad as anything I can remember.
