Republicans: Still Assholes After all These Years

With nothing to say but "repeal Health Care" the same Republican morons who showed their financial bonefides and responsible leadership abilities during the Bush years are apparently back in the saddle again, raring to go and spend more money we don't have, and lie like hell. Just so we all get on the same page: to repeal any law, we have to have it declared Unconstitutional and ultimately the Supreme Court rules. If the Supremes agree, it's gone. If they don't it's still a law. Congress can write and pass new legislation that supersedes it, or The President can issue an Executive Order against it (highly unlikely for legislation this big). That would be like an Executive Order to ban Social Security or the Civil Rights Act. Such a thing might be technically possible in a declared State of Emergency, but not likely.

And if that weren't enough, the Health Care Bill itself has a rule change in the Senate that declares on page 1020 ("it shall not be in order in the senate or the house of representatives to consider any bill, resolution, amendment, or conference report that would repeal or otherwise change this subsection." )in other words, keep your mf hands off. So first, that rule must be declared unconstitutional before anything can so much as start. In effect, the Senate has created a rule that basically prevents ANY bill from being repealed, ever. That little goody will be struck down by the Obama laden Communist Supreme Court-----maybe.

So our "conservative" morons, led by always thrilling duo of Lamar Alexander and Mitch McConnell are going into the next election with an almost cinch recapture of Congress unless they repeal a bill that has so many goodies for so many freeloaders that it cannot be thrown out. Kill free medical care for kiddies? Food for the starving, prevent an airport from nowhere from being built?

Stupid says as stupid does and our pal Newt, the guy who completely misread his so-called "mandate" in '94 and guaranteed the reelection of Clinton, is the guy leading the charge here. He's a has been and we better find better than him. His divorce from his cancer stricken wife while near death in a hospital is worse than Jessie James stabbing Sandra Bullock in the back. He's a proven shithead. The Tea Party looks better and better, but then the Nazi Party looks better than another Republican Congress.
