In response to several thoughtful but anonymous emails regarding my post on the Anti Muslim cartoons and my belief that gratuitously denigrating anyone's religion should not be tolerated anywhere. I then listed a few paintings of horrid anti-Christian "art" that is shown in tax supported museums etc.
The respondees pointed out quite accurately that Muslims ain't protesting the mass murder by Muslim terrorists in Jordan recently, and five or more recent Muslim terror attacks on civilians, all of which go unreported in the Arab press. Both also point out to the vicious anti-Semitic cartoons, movies, and false stories routinely promulgated in Arab countries by all the usual suspects.
Both say my POV endorses a double standard. I think they may be correct if I said that. I quite clearly said that no religion should be ruthlessly attacked. The Arab response IS a double standard (we can do all sorts of awful things to you and your religion but you can't even run a cartoon about ours) and it is this double standard that is revealed now. Keep in mind that this response has been orchestrated by Imams imported from Denmark.

Several bloggers have commented that the
Muslim outrage in several countires seems orchestrated and pre-planned.
Notice the qunatity of Danish flags avilable to the street people of Syria and Lebanon and so on. Where did they get those flags?

You are right.
We should be pointing out the double standard while pointing out that the cartoons themselves were not worthy of respect.
The reality is that the left wants to make it a crime to mention that men who have sex with other men are suffering high rates of health problems, while endorsing the idea of openly and consistently mocking all religion with the idea of making it a social liability.
The left are the ones with a double standard. The rest of us don't have to drink their Koolaid. It's really very simple, so I guess this will spawn a thousand newspaper articles trying to explain away that simplicity.
