Next election in blogland: it will be all streaming video examples of what is going on, particularly Democratic vote fraud that is never reported by MSM. We will see pictumentary evidence of the Democrats stealing votes and intimidating voters. Right now FOX just reports in print. Think of us pajama types with mini-video cams nailing these people. Watch for the Democrats to lawyer up and sue all of us, and the Dem hackers knocking us off the web. It is clear that the Democrats choose to operate in the dark. Streaming Video will be the next thing. Technology will speak the truth. For a time. I look for a hundred or so of us simply picking up the videos and webbing them so that the Democrats will have to shut down the entire web. Get ready. Then we will have "streaming video fraud." The Left is at home with movies and they are filled with Michael Moores ready and willing to construct pictorial lies like the NAACP has done with their TV commercials. The truth will be hard to find.

Polls are tightening again. Vote.

Neanderthals threaten to sue Heinz Kerry for insensitive racist comments.....

People keep asking why O'Reilly hit on that truly ugly Mackris instead of hotties Laurie Dhue, Heather Nauert, or Juliet Huddy? The answer is obvious, real babes would hang up on a 55 year old married man.

The latest Kerry "hit" rumor, now all over the web, suggests that Kerry got a less than honorable discharge from the Navy. I think the GOP is launching a pre-emptive strike fearing a last minute "DUI" type of Kerry bomb. Quick seems to have the best overview of this thing. Reason not to believe it? This would have been leaked a long time ago if true. Polipundit has more. They also think this is nothing. GOP seems sure they we are going to win. Don't stop working and be sure to vote no matter what the media is saying.

CBS and Michael Moore doing a telethon for Yassar Arafat? Developing.........

The definitive Iraq explosvies round up is at Belmont Club. Bottom line is that the Army could have been careless, there might have been no RDX etc. there in the first place, stuff was taken out but what stuff. An honest look by somebody really trying to get at the truth as opposed to the NYT/CBS/DNC propaganda machine. Serious stuff by a serious guy, the kind that should be MSM but would never be hired.

Late hits on Bush coming from Europe. They are sticking their noses into our election, but I have such contempt for them anyway that I'm not touched by EU hit pieces at all. Fuck Europe, it's why my great great grandparents left that shit hole.

Is anybody really scared by that stupid terrorist tape?

How long before the O'Reilly tapes are public? There is a pool starting up at many offices around LA. She is an ugly middle aged money grubbing ho who will always "need" more money. She will never have another job anywhere on the planet.

Headline: Remains of Hobbit Like People Found are actually the first Democratic Party intellects. Records prove that they practiced so many abortions that they became extinct.

This, and a ton of other goodies at Bad Jocks dot com.
How bad a cheerleader do you have to be to have the crap kicked out of you by students from your own school? Now before you launch some hate mail my way, let me say that I don't condone what the fans did, but how did the cheerleaders and/or the school administration let things get so out of hand? Let's start at the beginning: there was a pre-football game pep rally at Thomas Jefferson High in Brooklyn last week and a 14-year-old cheerleader was roundly booed by students in the stands. Her response was anything but cheerleader-like: the victim shouted down hecklers at the performance using foul language that, not surprisingly, incited the hecklers even more and an intense shouting match ensued. The hecklers (male and female students) waited until after school for the cheerleader at a train station on Pennsylvania Avenue and punched, hit and kicked her in the face before one male student slammed a garbage can on her head. So far, only one person, Nohel Marte has been arrested on charges of assault, menacing, harassment and criminal possession of a weapon. Why did things get out of hand? You're not going to believe this: according to students, the cheerleading squad "was mediocre, and had the misfortune of appearing in the auditorium after a spirited performance by a school dance team." Said one freshman girl, "They weren't really doing any steps. They were just shaking their pom-poms. Nowadays you have to be more energetic." Or, at least fast enough to run from an angry mob of your peers. The less-than-energetic cheerleader spent a night at a local hospital.
Kim duToit is back from somewhere or other.

The videotape........FOX has it and is running parts of it. A big nothing. Some nutcase who may or may not be anybody making Crips and Bloods threats. Who cares?

Word is that the fake explosives story is hurting Bush. Sorry, but he is an asshole. The same bungling staff that can't communicate anything can't issue simple rebuttals to a fraud. Bush appoointed all of them and if he loses it will be his fault. Same observation can be made about a Kerry loss. Neither of these guys is much If Bush wins we will still be cursed with that incompetent White House communications unit; if Kerry wins we will be cursewd with a bunch of liars.. Jesus, what a choice.

Oil drops, so what gives? First, all long specs take profits some time and thevery large inventory reports made many bail. Then we have stops being hit; sell stops below the market. There is a storm of conjecture regarding a monster amount of sell stops below $49 and it is the nature of an auction market to lean against the highs and lean against the lows. We could see oil in the low $40 range. Will it stay there? Who knows? It's a cinch the Arabs would like to see oil in the $35 range because higher prices will bring huge energy savings by everyone.

.

So now its the Russians who moved the explosives. Q: How is it that our spy satellites that allegedly can read the license plate on a car from outer space, miss this one? Once again our "intel" is Mattel. And I ask once again "Does Kerry really want to be president?" No one who gets news from the web or FOX news now thinks this story was anything but a MSM attempt to rig the election.

A word for ABC. Alone among major news outlets ABC has actually checked all storiers before letting loose. They are right to check this "terrorist threat" video tape because it actually stinks to high heaven and could easily be a late hit put out by a Bush supporter gone wild. They may actually have done Bush a favor by sending it to the CIA.

Duh fuckin' Red Sox? Duh Red Sawks? Like everyone else I just had to watch the Series to believe it. What always gets me in any championship sports playoff series is that if one of the teams has a weakness the other team will always exploit it. How did the Cardinals run away with the National League? Nobody else has any pitching either. I suspect those "big hitters" on the Cardinals aren't all that great.

The missing explosives and tractor trailers: Blah blah blah....Have you considered the type of truck capable of hauling ten tons? A huge tractor trailer is what we are talking about. The NYT would have us believe that a defeated country with no vehicles capable of long hauls could have a fleet of 38 tractor trailers cruising down the highway right under the nose of our military. No matter how old or new these vehicles were there was very little gasoline available, almost no diesel fuel, and no drivers skilled enough to drive 38 tractor trailers loaded with explosives without at least one of them exploding due to accident. This "story" is ridiculous on its face.

Another type of truck that could be used is a dump truck. The difficulty of loading a dump truck whould require a lot of labor and I don't know how many cubic feet of space is used per ton of the explosives in question.

Finally rewritten at around 3PM PDT because Blogger crashed----oh no, not again----right after I posted a rough draft and I had no choice but to leave it up.......sorry
Simon has a pieceup today called "Why did Duranty Happen" that misses the reason. Duranty was the hard core Communist hack Times writer who supported Stalin in the 30s. Simon traces a "decline" from that time. I disagree. The Times has been almost totally bad since the 50s and anybody who does any honest research on topics knows this. It has been a propaganda organ for the Left since after WWII.

The decline of the Times "happened" because the creators of the paper, the people who put in the original sweat equity that created a wonder of journalism, passed control to family members just as Kings used to hand down countries. There is the inevitable decline when pampered children who have never had to work for anything "take over." They then hire others who are like them; went to the same schools, think the same way, and have the same view of themselves and of the world. They will also do as they are told or be fired.

Duranty didn't just "happen." He was telling it like the pampered children running the Times wanted it told. What you have now are the grandchildren of the founders, rich beyond belief, guilty about their free money, and arrogant as it is possible to be, running the paper with no accountability (they own more than 50% of all the stock).

The Times is read by all the "right" people and will continue on their current path until the "right" people wise up. Then with cirulation dropping they will "change" like a street whore who sees that there is better money inside the Plaza Hotel than on the cold street outside. The Times will dress up in different clothing so as to appear socially acceptable, but inside the soul of the Times it will be like the soul of the street whore. It will remain corrupt in its soul, not to be trusted, always trying to hide what it really is.

This is a Left Wing paper that slants the news every day.

They are like the Hapsburgs who hung around through generation after generation. They will vanish when they are kicked out, and it is possible the new media will do the job. Let us all hope so.

Notes on a Zig Zag paper: Either every man in America but me is now hung like wild west gunslinger or the FTC has sued all the penis enlargement industry. While channel surfing early this AM there were NO commercials for either bigger dicks or 42 D cup breasts. I really miss those over the hill hookers pitching the gospel.

The paltry audiences for both Cher and Rosie leave me wondering if the Bruce Springsteen, Peral Jam, etc. agit prop tour is doing well. Haven't heard a word from the big mouth crowd.

The total silence on the O'Reilly/middle aged bitch harassment story makes me think that somehow a deal had been made. Look for the tapes on Ebay.

According to Page Six the Kerry campaign workers are creating a brothel for themselves. No pix of the babes, if there are any babes.

If you haven't read Mort Zuckerman's piece on the Duelfur Report yet, be sure to go there. The entire article is a MUST READ.

For the first time in years I am totally into baseball. All my friends are watching too. Don't know if the ratings will show up big time or not.

All the cop and lawyer shows have been doing stories on the sex slave trade for a couple of years. Finally a crackdown in Frisco:
Inside, authorities rounded up 17 young Asian women believed to have been trafficked into the country for sex and slave labor. Many were found in a basement, reachable only through a false wall inside a cabinet. Typically, sex slave victims pay tens of thousands of dollars to get here, only to be forced into prostitution to pay off their debts.
This is far more widespread than you might imagine. Full story HERE.

Beware of horror and sports movies praised by the liberal critics. "FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS," is a movie praised by the Left Wing critical establishment, an MSM segment that is composed of people who are dedicated to praising any movie that makes America look bad; an effite elite that is hard Left to their core. The poor box office for this movie is another example of the audience smelling a stinker from ten miles away. Why a stinker? Because the word got out very fast that this movie is a phony. More exactly, another Hollywood Left America Stinks phony.

I'm not only a football fan, I played it, coached it a little, and my son was a starter on a top AAAA team in Los Angeles, one that played against one of the best teams in the history of the city, a team that actually had four guys play in Division One and two go to the NFL. When I was in high school I played on a team that won two championships, lost only two games in three years, was the number one small school team in California, and we had the longest winning streak in the state. Three of our players were offered Division One scholarships.

"Friday Night Lights" is counterfeit from top to bottom, starting with the rules. Kickoffs cannot be run out of the end zone in high school; receivers cannot be hammered as they receive the ball, anyone who tackles helmet to helmet is ejected, and on any high school team in the world there are only four or five potential Division One players. They are not capable of the vicious hitting put on display in this movie. In fact the sadistic savagery shown over and over again takes place no more than once or twice per game in Division I college games either.

The characters in this movie are all horrible people with the exception of the coach and his wife---Billy Bob Thornton and Connie Britton. Not one parent is decent. Not one parent is anything but abusive toward their kids. Nobody on the team has fun. The blacks on the other teams are all racist pieces of shit, unfortunately true in many black high schools. They are trouble in SoCal every time they lose to a largely white team. The black cheerleaders in this movie are as bad as the black team. The black official deliberately robs the white team and costs them the game.

We are to supposed to believe that everybody connected with high school football is like this. Total crap. I played in a very small town and the football team was too important, but we never had parents like the ones in this movie. I have never experienced more than a few parents who were assholes either in high school or Youth Football. The only thing that rang true to me was the racism of the black coaches and players.

The movie is a total put down of high school sports, of the people around high school sports, the coaches who coach it, and by extension America itself. "Friday Night Lights" is another example of Hate America Hollywood Left movies. Nobody who "plays" can possibly see themselves in this thing. Once again you, the "stupid public", is right to choose to attend other movies.

Suppose they wanted to preach to the choir and the choir didn't show up?

That's what's happened to Rosie and Cher and it couldn't have happened to nastier people. It just could be that their "choir" has finally been turned off by the crooked things the Democrat Party is doing. We can hope. But what is probably more true is the elitist ticket prices for the Cher party line appearance. $90 a pop, cokes were $9 and the "concert" went on 35 minutes late. Audience was 200 link from Drudge. Meanwhile there were less than forty to attend the Lesbian Kerry tribute put on by O'Donnel. The less and less useful Google has zero on both of these old stories (actually a link above is to a letter to the editor). I think Google might be in the tank for Kerry along with the rest of the PC crew.

IF YOU BAN IT, THEY WILL COME

STOLEN HONOR is here. This is the film that the Democrats have sued into oblivion as far as a TV showing is concerned. The link courtesy of Bill Quick and Dodd Harris. Post these links on sites you visit. The quality is good. This piece is so devastating that even if Kerry is elected he will be toast when this is viewed by the entire country. Everything technically wrong with this piece actually works in its favor because the very amateurism of the project makes it truthful. Very hard to watch. Kerry lied back in 1971 and you will come away from this hating him, Jane Fonda, Tom Hayden and the whole crowd. The Democrats are opposing free speech, again, but one of the wonderful things about this country is that once one of us tries to ban something everybody and his uncle will kill to see it. THIS IS A MUST SEE.

Mort Zuckerman is the Chairman and Publisher of the (New York) Daily News, editor-in-Chief of U.S. News and World Report, and a major contributor to Jewish World Review; he is a liberal---as opposed to a Leftist -- so when he takes apart the Duelfur Report, we need to pay some attention. He mentions the "dark side" of the report, the the side that the MSM ignores.

1. The report states that Saddam wanted to re-create Iraq's banned weapons programs, including nuclear weapons.

2. He was also committed to developing ballistic missiles and tactical chemical weapons when the U.N. sanctions were either lifted or corroded.

3. He kept the industrial equipment to help restart these programs. He increased military spending by 40 times, and his technical military research 80-fold. Saddam's scientists were performing deadly experiments on human guinea pigs in secret labs under the noses of UN inspectors.

4. The MSM has ignored a key segment of the report: "Iraq would have been able to produce mustard agents in a period of months and nerve agent in less than a year or two."

5. Saddam, retained the scientists and other technicians "needed to restart a potential biological weapons program" ....

6. ....and he "intended to reconstitute long-range delivery systems [that is, missiles] and . . . the systems potentially were for WMD."

Zuckerman adds that the conclusions in the report were based on interviews with Saddam Hussein, his closest advisers, and his weapons scientists, along with the kind of industrial equipment the Iraqi government imported and maintained.

The entire column is worth a read. Once again I must comment on the complete inability of the Bush gang to articulate what is actually in the report. The man is simply not capable of articulating anything. That's who he is too.

O'Reilly ree-ducks---How can you be desperate when you are making 90K per? (Complete NY Post piece is here) Ms Mackris is high maintenance and had a lawyer boy friend who supported her in ADDITION to her 90K for two years. When she was dumped she "needed" to maintain her lifestyle. The fact that she was just a high paid mistress or prostitute never crossed her tiny mind. So how do you get in debt over your eyeballs on 90K per?

After all taxes she has "only" around 70K to spend. Consider that any decent apartment in Manhattan costs at least 3K per month that you cannot write off. 70K less 36K leaves a poor mistress/prostitute only 34K to spend. Food plus some restaurant eating costs at least 2K per month, leaving only 22K. Transportation to work using the subway runs 3K per but you can't expect a producer that people might recognize to do anything but take a cab and you are in the 10K zone, leaving only 12K. So movies, clothes, theater, the symphony, vacations in the "right places" small vices eat up much more than the remaining 12K. So she hits the plastic and continues pissing money away. You cannot pay back 99K with a salary of 90K. She would need a minimum of 200K per year in order to get out of debt. Or win the lottery. O'Reilly was is her lottery. BTW how can this be settled when she has the tapes? There are obviously copies. She can sell them or cause them to be sold. When this is said and done O'Reilly's "moral" position will be completely eroded. She "wins". Let's all hope she wins nothing.

If the left had written the "Wolves Ad":
FADE IN: a pack of Koala Bears looks menacingly at the CAMERA
WIDER SHOT: John Kerry skips gayley through the grass toward them, heedless of the menace.
ANOTHER ANGLE: Kerry is rolling in the grass and playing with the Koala Bears.
TIGHTER SHOT: Kerry is rubbing the tummy of a Koala while others lick his face.
WIDE SHOT: Kerry, holding a cuddly Koala, prances off into the woods with the other Koalas.

Voice Over: Some would have us cowering in fear over the menace of the little bears. Trust John Kerry to recognize the difference between menace and the need to be loved.

Bush has no chance in PA if this Schultz piece detailing vote fraud in Philly is correct. If you haven't read it be sure to go there. Very Depressing.

Remember, if it isn't close they can't cheat. VOTE.

Those who don’t participate in the elections will end up in hell” and he added in his speech “we must bear the responsibility and we must all participate in the elections because it’s a patriotic duty and not doing so is like treason”
Just one of many clerics inside Iraq supporting democracy. Details at Iraq the Model. Good stuff. Then there is this:
On the other side, the “Association of Muslim scholars” called all the Iraqis to boycott the elections and considered those who disobey this call as “sinners”.
I take this to mean that even if you die in battle the 72 virgins will have herpes. Then be sure to visit Iraq at a Glance for a tutorial on Wahhabi goals and past. Very interesting, almost pre-historic stuff.

Kerry and dem gooses---gooses are dog turds with feathers, rats with wings, airborne defecation machines. Everybody who lives anywhere near them hates them. They destroy everything. Imagine a thirty pound loose bowled vegetarian shitting on you. From a hundred feet up in the sky. The turd weight is close to a pound. Then imagine thirty of them bombing your town. They are so fucking big anybody with eyes and a gun can shoot them down. Kerry did the world a favor by killing two of the shit spewing feathered terrorists. Whenever you hear of a plane going down because it ran into some birds, you can bet your ass dem birds was gooses. Anybody who thinks an AK-47 ain't for hunting never lived around gooses.

The EU deal with Iran probably includes a guarantee that Iran will bomb Israel first. BUT those scumbags at the LA Times worry about the poor Iranians becoming victims of Israel.
Israel May Have Iran in Its Sights: If diplomacy fails, the Jewish state could call on military to strike any nuclear arms program.
The Left sides with the anti-Semites once again. I think if Kerry wins Israel is in big trouble.

Reynolds is linking to Larry Kudlow. If you want to know about the economy this is THE place to go.
Tax Cuts Are Better: As per Roger Altman’s good old college try, Nobelist Edward Prescott says “When you cut tax rates, employment always goes up…The idea that you can increase taxes and stimulate the economy is pretty damn stupid."
Then there is this kind of information on oil:

Steve Hanke has the story right – filling up SPR means the government competes for oil inventories with the private sector. The money sentence: After the President issued the order to fill the SPR, in late 2001…total US oil inventories have increased by 9.4%…But private stocks have actually decreased by 12.5%. The SPR has crowded out private storage…
Whatever Kudlow says deserves immediate attention because he is a brilliant economist:
The brilliant Elaine Garzarelli and her model of indicators believe the stock market to be 25% undervalued. I agree. So does Art Laffer. In fact, given everything thrown at the market this year, including Iraq and oil, the fact that the S&P 500 is actually up a smidge is really a sign of great market strength
There's lots more. Go there.

GI voting rights go down the tubes--again. Details are here, but the fault lies (they say) with the locals who didn't get the ballots out. Isn't a national election a FEDERAL jurisdiction? And I wonder how many locals are Democrats trying to rig the election?

A far different spin on the soldiers refusing to go on that transportation mission in Iraq. It is worth reading but it is hard to tell if the soldier is CYA or is shooting straight. Read it.
In addition to correcting details in an account his father gave the newspaper Tuesday, Coates said he wanted to emphasize a key point: That neither he, nor his fellow soldiers, were too afraid to go on the mission they refused.

"We are not cowards," he said. "The way that things come out, it makes us look like that. ... Our soldiers have run missions all over Iraq; we're never scared to go on a mission."

If any of us needed proof that the AP has become a propaganda organ for the PC Left, one only has to observe that when Katelyn Faber broke her own anonymity when filing the civil case against Kobe Bryant the AP refused to reveal it.

Finally, the MSM is reporting the voter fraud issues. The talk around the office seems to indicate that people may mistrust our election for the first time I can remember. What the Democrats are doing has not gone unnoticed by the Republicans who may try to challenge voters at the polls, but not at the Black polling stations where the fraud is more widespread.

The middle age ugly may be trying to cut a deal, this according to this AMs Daily News. Reports are that she is $100,000 in debt, most of it unsecured, and was looking for a score.
Morelli called Court TV anchor Lisa Bloom when he heard she would be discussing the case on air with Bo Dietl, a private eye who has been gathering information on Mackris for O'Reilly's lawyers, the source said.

Bloom and Morelli became acquainted while both appeared on the Fox TV show "Power of Attorney."

The source said Morelli asked Bloom to tell Dietl that Mackris is "willing to settle."
The New York Post only reports
"She was a financially challenged woman, maybe financially desperate, when she told co-workers she intended to bring down O'Reilly and Fox, get $1 million from them and buy the apartment in New York City that she always wanted and couldn't afford," he said. Mackris' lawyer, Benedict Morelli, and Green did not return calls for comment yesterday.

Duh fuckin' Red Sox?

HEALTH CARE up in that country that hates us, Canada. Under the headline: Wait Times Improve Slightly
The Fraser Institute's 14th annual survey, Waiting Your Turn: Hospital Waiting Lists in Canada, found that New Brunswickers face a median wait of 20.9 weeks this year from the time their family doctor refers them to a specialist until they receive treatment. That's down slightly from 21.1 weeks in 2003.

The survey, released Tuesday, said New Brunswickers will wait an average of 10 weeks this year to see a specialist and then wait another 10.9 weeks for treatment after seeing the specialist.
Not be be out done, The Super Left Canada.com lets everyone know that the study was done by a Right Wing think tank but brings itself to print
Waiting time for medical treatment in Canada rises slightly: study
Among various specialties, the longest wait time between a GP visit and orthopedic surgery was 37.9 weeks and the wait for plastic surgery was 35.8 weeks.

The Maritimes spells out the glory of Socialized Hillary Care this way:
Survey co-author Nadeem Esmail says the waiting times are the longest Canadians have ever experienced and exist despite record levels of health spending
Can't wait for 2008.

Somebody making 90K per is desperate for money and went after the pot of gold, if we are to believe the gossip coming out about Mackris, the middle aged ugly who is suing O'Reilly. Background over the firing of Jim Miller at CNN over phony sexual harassment charges at CNN was her school for nailing someone. It gets thicker. The women in my office all hope Mackris gets blown up because her over blown charges makes it hard for other women to get a hearing. Sexual harassment gets automatic backup from the feminists on staff everywhere. My advice? Do what we do, hire only enough of women to make it look good and keep them on straight commission.

Cheney got a flu shot. Give me a fucking break. Kerry is a true asshole. Cheney is one who has to have one because he has a pacemaker for his heart and he's over 60. I am sick of politics and have already voted FOR BUSH.

Rasmussen shows race tightening. His commentary yesterday that the Social Security scare tactics are working may be true.

10/19/2004

Kerry attacks on Social Security are working. So says Rasmussen in today's polling. He credits (blames) the New York Times for participating.

The crack cocaine for voter registration isn't exactly a big time crime. This crackhead registered Mary Poppins, Jeffrey Dahmer, Janet Jackson, and Chad Staton among others. The blatant attempt to fraudulently register voters is sponsored by the NAACP. Is that a surprise? BTW, George Foreman, Brett Favre, Michael Jordan, and Dick Tracy, were also registered. The NAACP is "shocked, shocked" that there were false voters registered.
Remember, if it isn't close they can't cheat. VOTE.

In an unrelated cocaine case, the family of a guy who was being chased by police is suing the police..... Why? Because the SOB swallowed a ton of cocaine while driving to escape. The family is saying the police scared scared him into swallowing it. The guy died from a cocaine overdose and it's the cops fault.

Slowly but surely a few MSM outlets are commenting gingerly on the O'Reilley "thing." Page Six
Back in 2002, O'Reilly told Stuff: "The most beautiful women in the world are located in two countries: Norway and Thailand. No question. It's just a matter of genetics. You have Norwegians: They are blond and blue-eyed. They are healthy. They are tall and Viking-esque. In Thailand, it's just a very elegant look. Beautiful women."

O'Reilly added, "The most unattractive women in the world are probably in the Muslim countries. You can't see them. So you are assuming that if they're dressed head-to-toe in black and I can only see eyebrows, there's something going on. I could be wrong."
It seems the man has left a string of published quotes.

We in California have a ballot proposition to legalize all stem cell research. The people backing it with mail pieces leave me with only one conclusion: the real issue is abortion on demand for the people in favor of it. Unproven "cures" are just a vehicle for them. I don't know, nor does anyone, if stem cells will cure anything.

10/18/2004

Q: The new Navy uniforms were designed by: A. Joseph Abboud B. Kenneth Cole C. the design team at Gay Mart in Frisco D. Dick Licker of Provencetown. Look for gang rapes of "our guys" as they prance around the Middle East in these.

The New York Times tells it like it is:
(If Bush is elected) Abortion might be a crime in most states. Gay people could be thrown in prison for having sex in their homes. States might be free to become mini-theocracies, endorsing Christianity and using tax money to help spread the gospel.
Can you believe that intelligent people are the ones who read this rag? And actually believe it?

THE REPUBLICANS WILL STEAL YOUR SOCIAL SECURITY RETIREMENT

The funny thing is that privatization would result in socialism almost over night.

At the heart of this current scare is this; if the people who are smart enough to use 2.5% of their Social Security to invest it over time that money won't be available to those who are either to dumb or too risk averse to do the same. Further, the profits from the 2-1/2 percent invested will also remain out of the system. (This assumes the private investments will actually yield a profit over time.) The Social Security "fund" will be reduced by 2.5% of the six hundred billion dollars in the "trust fund." This would mean that---in their thinking---if $15 billion is removed or not donated it means the fund has been "robbed" of $15 billion. Put another way, it means that the risk averse and the stupid will have less available from forced contributions than would have been available to them if everything stayed the same. And don't forget the envy. Envy at the people who end up with more money.

However if the entire current six hundred billion in the fund was invested by the government into the private sector the impact on stock and bond markets would be horrendous and nobody anywhere knows what that impact might be. One of the sure results is that the government would control the stock and bond markets. This type of privitization would result in socialism almost immediately.

The real debate is the unspoken one. The smart people will end up with more money than the dopes and since there are far more dopes than anything else and all the dopes vote it means this debate will be dominated by those who just want to lay around and draw "their" money safely.

So all the Democrats have to do is slog around the old farts homes in Florida, California, Arizona an the like and scare a bunch of old failures into voting to save their very short term futures. This issue is a non-starter for Republicans and privatizing Social Security will never happen, no matter how good it "might be." BTW if everyone had the "right" to invest 2.5% of their SS, the stock scammers would be on the phones faster than you can say "stick em up." There is no way that most people won't be robbed of their 2.5% by the criminal horde of "investment" experts.

Me thinks Kerry has nothing to say so he has chosen this road.

10/17/2004

denBeste, who's pretentious intellectuosity has always seemed more hot air than the balloon can ever handle, has a some kind of a chart that purports to show that Kerry is losing steam over the long trend line. Or some such shit. That a smart guy like Wretchard at The Belmont Club buys into it is even more disturbing. And the charge that respected polling people deliberately manipulated data is absurd. DenBeste just doesn't have anything to write about. BTW, Rasmussen did admit that something went wrong with his polling over a one or two day period, but he polls every day and he is very straight up.

"The past is never a true indicator for the future." Everybody who tracks any market knows this. A chart, a trend, a graph, etc., can only show what happened. Period. All representations of past data only focus on the data, not on the situations or occurrences that caused that data. It seems that Bush suffered huge damage from the first debate, but it can also be argued that he got a disproportionate bounce from the GOP convention.

The only thing you can derive from the polls TODAY is that Bush appears to be ahead and that the race is very close. Period. To apply momentum, moving averages, and all the other crap is just that. Crap. An election poll is not a stock market or a poker game. A poll takes data from different people every week or every day. There is no constant. The last two weeks of this campaign are going to be dirty as hell. Remember the Bush DUI that came out five days before November of 2000, a charge that totally wiped out a decent Bush lead.

We won't know anything til the votes are counted, which means keep working.

Why Kerry gets thinner by the day, this report from somewhere: Banging your head against a wall uses 150 calories an hour

A look at Real Clear Politics will show you how badly Bush hurt himself in the first debate. Their Home Page has a collection of editorial comment from a wide assortment of sources. Happens to be a good read too.

Roger Simon, and a few others, seem to think that Sullivan is somehow honest in his opinion that Kerry is a good place for hawks. Sullivan cares about one thing: his homosexuality and the demand that he be declared normal with all the perks of heterosexual couples. Period. Anyone opposed to gay marriage is bad, therefore Bush is bad. He's a fake, he's always been a fake both as a man and a talent, and is like far too many clever Brit homosexuals, he is the mistress of obfuscation. Oxford does that to almost everyone.

Flu Vaccine and the problems are best explained HERE Left out is the Hillary Care "take all risks including liability but make no money" angle. Still an interesting piece.

You are wrong if you think the Insurance scandal doesn't affect you. No retail insurance company carries all of its own risk. They always pass it on to a "re-insurer" in a series of packages. The price fixing is aimed at the re-insurers, the people who actually set the "rules" for insurance premiums. When they fix their own bids per package they actually determine your rates. Why do the big companies pass risk along? A State Farm agent who was a friend of mine had a picture of the San Gabriel valley taken from the POV of the main boulevard that ran a twenty mile length of the valley. He had personally insured 75 % of the office buildings along the street there, a value in the billions. State Farm ordered him to stop writing any policies in "the Valley" because the State Farm re-insurers refused to accept any more risk there. State Farm dropped at least half the policies, or more precisely raised their premiums so that other firms became cheaper. Because of the huge hurricane losses due to Andrew it looks like the big companies decided to raise the risk premium and cut down on the risk exposure without any competitive bidding.

Stealing the election: the Democrats continue to register every grave stone, fence post, and dead infant they can while the judges refuse to allow anyone to look. Remember, if it isn't close they can't cheat.

Nineteen to eight?
There ain't no nineteen to eight in baseball. Red Sox go again. There ain't no curse of the Bambino, just bad front office management.

O'Reilley Alfredo with a side of crow: Best piece is in the WaPo.
O'Reilly's attorney, Ronald Green, would not deny that the sexual conversations had taken place, saying he could not address whether his client "used a particular word or phrase at any time as part of a joke." He said that the lurid, highly detailed "snippets" recounted in Mackris's lawsuit could have been "taken out of context" or "spun for exaggeration," and that O'Reilly "wants to hear the tapes if they exist." Green said he has witnesses who say Mackris told them that she decided to tape O'Reilly when the four-year employee returned to Fox.
He is one burnt piece of bread.

They gave 150 Iraqis DVD cameras and told them to just go out and shoot and when they were done to give the cameras to someone else. The result is a surprising and obviously honest look at Iraq today. If you are expecting pro-US agit prop, forget it. Very honest, lots of people want Saddam back and lots of people happy as hell he is gone. Their visions of the future are on display. What? Honest journalism? Well not in the LA, NY Times or any of the usual places. It is not being shown in theatres but their schedule for LA, NY, and DC is posted here. Only the WSJ bothered to look at and review the movie
.......film producers Eric Manes, Martin Kunert and Archie Drury sent 150 digital video cameras to Iraq and invited Iraqis to tape whatever they wanted--and then pass the cameras onto someone else. The three had no idea how the victims of first Saddam Hussein and then of the chaos that accompanied his fall would react.

By the end of last month, the producers had received some 450 hours of footage, taped all over the country with some 2,000 Iraqis. The scenes in their completed film, "Voices of Iraq" (www.voicesofiraq.com), come as a shock.

Yes, there is a mother sobbing in her kitchen because her son and four other family members have just been killed in the crossfire between U.S. soldiers and looters. There are stunned survivors picking through the ruins of a church bombed by insurgents. A tiny baby died there; its burned mother lies in a coma and its father has gone insane.

But mostly, overwhelmingly, there are signs of life and optimism. Iraqis have filmed themselves in busy streets, bustling markets and a packed amusement park, the bulbs on its rides lighting up the night sky. There is a jubilant graduation ceremony at Baghdad University, with singing, dancing and squirted confetti, and street celebrations after Iraq placed fourth in soccer at its first Olympics since 1988.
Go HERE for the entire review. I'm certainly going to do my best to see it, too bad Sinclair doesn't show it too. Wake up courtesy of sondrak.

WTF?? The Army is investigating reservists who refused to deliver a fuel shipment under conditions they considered unsafe. War is unsafe? Bad mens is going to go bang bang at me? I just wanted to lay around on weekends and get paid for it. Call the ACLU. These guys sure ain't Special Forces.

Claudia strikes, AGAIN: Kerry's future best friend, Kofi Anan, is stealing more money from the Iraquis. No longer shocking other than the MSM won't report any of it. Anyone other than Rosett winning a Pulitzer is robbery.

Markets and reality: If you have lost money over the blowout in the indexes the past week or so you only have yourself to blame. None of the stocks I track have lost anything and all are up instead of down. Here's a partial list of stocks that went up when the Dow lost 200 points: ADS, BMO, BNN,NSC, HRS, EFD (an absolute monster move to the upside), SLM, SSI, UTIW,SCSC, PIXR, ARLP, PPDI, CTSH. And those are only a few making new highs day after day after day. The indexes are dominated by quick buck speculators. Buy stocks that are sound and you will never be hurt. Invest. Invest. Invest. Use IBD and the CANSLIM system.

Kerry-Edwards lash back: "My own son is a faggot," says an angered Kerry. Mrs Edwards has confessed to Page Six that she once had a lesbian affair that lasted seven years. "I have no shame about it. In fact she never used to call me fat or anything."

Does Kerry really want to be president? It makes no difference whether you view Cheney's daughter as making a life style choice which is nobody's business but hers or if you think she's a symbol of cultural degeneracy, something really stinks about the Kerry-Edwards-Mrs. Edwards attack remarks. All of us who have children know that if their private lives were exposed because we chose to run for public office we probably would decide to remain in the sanitation business. This, when matched with the "terrorism is like prostitution and gambling" remark, has to make us all wonder if Kerry is really dedicated to winning. Big winner: Hillary. Again.

Keep your eye on the vote fraud issue and volunteer at the polls if you can. The only way to beat these crooks to to impose honesty upon them. Or you can set fire to a few polling places.

O'Reilley vs the Skank: "I couldn't handle the vibrator and the phone at the same time." Forced phone sex? Whatever happened to hanging up the phone? Get ready for a Kobe Bryant burn the crops attack by O'Reilley. The only thing I wonder about is the near unattractiveness of the woman. Can she possibly have a sex crazed past? This is a sexually chilling woman. We'll see.

The flu vaccine fiasco: It boils down to the Hillary Care approach to the distribution of drugs. Because of the threat of law suits and the regulation of both profits that could be earned and prices that could be charged, everybody got out of the drug manufacturing business. This is what socialized medicine will be like.

A good summation of the oil for food scandal is here by Safire. FOX News Channel will do an expose on Sunday night. Nobody else is reporting it, except for Claudia.

Market note: Mark Johnson has been short the Dow since 10/4. Huge huge score for those of you watching his tips.

Notes on a Zig Zag Paper

The O'Reilley sex harassment suit: we see another really unattractive woman who attaches herself as a "producer" to a high powered man. Who would ever hustle a skank like her? Some old guy that's who.

What would the MSM be saying if Bush had gone after somebody's lesbian relative like Kerry went after Cheney's daughter last night? We'd be hearing from Jackson, the NYT, NBC, and the rest of them about what a bigot Bush is.

FINALLY it looks like the Justice Department has said something about the Black "Churches" involving themselves in politics. Separation of Church and State is only there to use against Republicans, until right now.

Supremes to review Ten Commandments cases banning their exhibition on public lands. Solutions include renaming them "The Ten Suggestions," "Ten Stupid Sayings," and a slight re-wording so as not to offend athiests, Muslims, and Liberals. Some suggestions are:
Thou shouldst think before committing adultry in front of the kids
Thou shalt not kill unless thou art really pissed off.
Thou shalt not bear false witness unless it is to your advantage to do so.
Honor thy father and mother, until they get old--- then let the government take care of them.
If Gore had been elected president, right now he would just be finding that last lesbian quadriplegic for the Special Forces team...at Ann Coulter today in a funny but totally unimportant column.

LEFT WING MEDIA DISTORTS EDWARDS SPEECH. FULL TEXT BELOW.

According to the MSM John Edwards told a crowd: 'When John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going to walk. Get up out of that wheelchair and walk again'... Edwards made the unprecedented campaign promise during 30-minute speech at Newton High School gym in Newton, Iowa...

What he really said:
When John Kerry is president, people like Christopher Reeve are going to walk. Get up out of that wheelchair and walk again; men with erectile malfunction will be hard for days at a time; people who are overweight will have 3% body fat; women with small breasts will all have "C" cups; menopause will be a thing of the past as will male baldness; all dwarfs will be 5'9" and everybody will be rich.
Once again we cannot trust the MSM to tell us the truth. They have also covered up the fact that the Red Sox beat the Yankees last night 4 to 3.

Bill O'Reilley is toast. LINK HERE TO SMOKING GUN FOR COPY OF FILING. Just stick a fork in him and toss the dead bird into the gabage. Not only is O'Reilley toast, but he may take the entire FOX News network down with him. There is no way this suit could have been brought unless she woman taped everything. He was so stupid he left messages on her answering machine. The damages will be in the hundreds of millions of dollars. This may be very bad news for conservatives unless Murdoch and Ailes just dump him, and if they have any sense at all that is exactly what they have to do.

His behavior is very similar to the charges leveled against a record company a few years back. It's too bad but "absolute power corrupts absolutely." He's the Kobe Bryant of TV News. BUT the entire thing could have been made up. It's possible the woman is a psychotic and views O'Reilley in some fantasy. It is peculiar that she left CNN to rejoin O'Reilley after at least half the "advances" allegedly took place. I just find it difficult to believe that a large law firm would undertake this dangerous suit unless there were tapes of her claims.

We'll see. Below is a copy of the O'Reilley-FOX response:

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Oct. 13, 2004--Bill O'Reilly, host of the FOX News Channel's The O'Reilly Factor, filed suit today in Nassau County Supreme Court against a Manhattan attorney, his law firm, Morelli & Associates, and a FOX News employee for attempting to extort $60 million dollars from Mr. O'Reilly.
Benedict P. Morelli, a Manhattan attorney, and the FOX News employee, threatened to sue Mr. O'Reilly and FOX News claiming Mr. O'Reilly allegedly engaged in offensive conversations with the employee. The employee worked for Mr. O'Reilly for four years before moving to Cable News Network (CNN) earlier this year. After just five
months at CNN, the employee asked Mr. O'Reilly to return to Fox News, and did so in July of this year.

The complaint filed by Mr. O'Reilly alleges that Mr. Morelli and the employee engaged in an extortion attempt by threatening to file a well-publicized lawsuit and demanding an exorbitant financial settlement for hush money. The complaint describes Mr. Morelli's demand that Mr. O'Reilly pay the pair "nothing less than $60 million." In addition, Mr. Morelli claimed he "wanted to punish not only O'Reilly, but FOX News."
Mr.
O'Reilly said, "As a public figure, I have received many threats. But enough is enough...the threats stop now. I will not give in to extortion." While Mr. O'Reilly is seeking unspecified damages, he stated that he would donate "one hundred percent" of the monetary damages to charity.

In addition to the extortion lawsuit, Mr. O'Reilly has also sued Mr. Morelli, his law firm, and the employee for intentional infliction of emotional distress and wrongful interference with contractual relations, alleging that their accusations threatened to impair his reputation and standing with his employers and the public.

Oil price conspiracy? Top people think so.

Jim Cramer, a former hedge fund manager, Democratic activist, and currently in a new life as co-host of Kudlow and Cramer on CNBC is stating straight out that the price of oil is being manipulated by hedge funds with billions in capital driving prices higher every day. The main problem is that the "margin"---the amount of money you have to put up to trade one contract----is too low by at least two thirds making the trading of oil far too cheap. The margins are exactly the same as when oil traded at $20 and the NYMEX is making so much money they don't care.

So where is the CFTC? As usual with Bush appointees, sitting on their fat asses doing nothing. According to Cramer, the current margin per $50,000 contract is just $300, an insane invitation for speculation. The margins posted on the NYMEX website leave out margins for hedgers. Assuming Cramer's right, and he always is on facts, this means a margin play of 167 to one, an unheard of percent. Consider that beans trading at $5 requires $500 for hedgers who have serious position limits the margin play is 50 to one.

Something for you gurus to think about.

This is another example of Bush refusing to fire his appointees, but Kerry is too lame to point out what is happening.

BTW, Cramer as well as guests think Google is a short. These guys are total fuck ups and as I post this I find that Blogger is down again and I can't post this.

Kerry to send Third Cavalry into New York city to end prostitution and gambling. May send more troops if needed............Developing

Notes on a Zig Zag paper: The election in Afghanistan will prove to be cleaner than ours, as the Democrats continue to list fraudulent voters, and so on. Union thugs and other thugs (link to WSJ piece by John Fund)carrying guns have already done their best to disrupt the election process. When the UN inspectors blast the Black voters, the Indian Reservation tombstone ballots, the the various frauds around the country it's the Democrats who will look bad. Remember, it if isn't close they can't cheat.

Success for Democracy in Afghanistan is being mourned by the Left in our country, which is a sure sign that they see themselves losing in November. A good piece today is also in the Journal.

Cal should have beaten USC
on Saturday and Rogers, the Cal quarterback, is the best college passer I have ever seen. Twenty three out of twenty three til late in the third and the Cal receivers caught everything. As a registered old fart I have seen plenty of college QBs, especially lately since we've had some good ones around here. A great game. Great. Now for the Red Sox-Yankees.

Kerry's remark about returning terrorism to being a nuisance reveals how entitlement Democrats view, or more precisely, choose to view terrorism. Their only concern is that "their entitlement money" is being spent to fight it. So random mass murder becomes just an annoyance so they can get more entitlements. Minor inconveniences are what Kerry and his crowd think has been happening in Israel, Iraq, the two bombings at the World Trade Center, the Marine Barracks back in the 80s, intifadas, orders to murder authors they don't like no matter where they live, beating up Jews whenever they feel like it. That was his Dukakis moment, thank God for that.

The AARP (Antique Americans Requiring Pampering) is now leading a whine for subsidized cell phone service even though most of them get cells and never use them.
But first marketers must overcome the concerns of Mr. Scocca and his peers, who say the phones are too small, too hard to hear and cost too much. Mr. Scocca ought to know. Two years ago, he bought service from AT&T Wireless. But he canceled it in May after the phone sat mostly unused on his kitchen table, though he spent $32 a month for service.
What next? Subsidized NFL Sunday Ticket? $10 limit for NBA tickets? Jesus Christ, when do people wise up and tell everybody old to deal with it?

10/10/2004

Almost all the MSM has picked up Kerry's Dukakus like remark that "....terrorism is a nuisance," while Kerry was pandering in a BLACK church. No separation of church and state where vote begging to Blacks is concerned. No violations of the Constitution; that old piece of paper that Kerry wants to subserve to allies and the UN, no violations of that useless piece of paper will ever be made against Democrats. Anyway I think this comment will sink Kerry every bit as much as the rape response sunk Dukakis back in '88. One also has to observe that Blacks are the entitlement class to the max and really want a socialist state. Not to worry, Kerry has them in his pocket. The actual full quote appears on factcheck:
In Fact, Kerry Said That He Would Reduce The Threat Of Terrorism So That "It Isn't Threatening People's Lives Every Day." ''We have to get back to the place we were, where terrorists are not the focus of our lives, but they're a nuisance,'' Kerry said. ''As a former law-enforcement person, I know we're never going to end prostitution. We're never going to end illegal gambling. But we're going to reduce it, organized crime, to a level where it isn't on the rise. It isn't threatening people's lives every day, and fundamentally, it's something that you continue to fight, but it's not threatening the fabric of your life.'' (NYT, 10/10/
"Fact Check" located at U.S. Newswire seems more interested in rationalizing an entire series of Kerry's nuanced observations made within in a certain liberal context that seems to mean that you can't defeat terrorism alone.

AS most of you now know, the GOOGLE owned and operated "Blogger" has been down for around 24 hours. I still say their stock is headed south. These people are incompetent.

My son finally got back from Iraq---he went there in 1969 to avoid the draft---and we had dinner together. Today we're going to the Cal-USC game. The debate? At least Bush showed up and everybody thought their man won.

OFF TO THE GAME

10/8/2004

UNDER THE NUMBERS: About 7.7 million persons (not seasonally adjusted) held more than one job in September. These multiple jobholders represented 5.5 percent of total em-ployment, compared with 5.2 percent a year earlier.

Persons Not in the Labor Force (Household Survey Data)

The number of persons who were marginally attached to the labor force was
1.6 million in September, about the same as a year earlier. (Data are not
seasonally adjusted.) These individuals wanted and were available to work and
had looked for a job sometime in the prior 12 months. They were not counted as
unemployed, however, because they did not actively search for work in the 4
weeks preceding the survey. There were 412,000 discouraged workers in September,
little changed from a year earlier. Discouraged workers, a subset of the mar-
ginally attached, were not currently looking for work specifically because they
believed no jobs were available for them. The other 1.1 million marginally
attached had not searched for work for reasons such as school or family respon-
sibilities. Black unemployment remains above 10% while Asian unemployment is at 4.3%, make whatever you want out of that.

Be sure you hit Hobbs for lates vote fraud news. GOP is going to lose if we don't do something NOW.

Problem tonight for Bush: corporate profits are up nearly 40% over the past two years but the workers haven't benefited at all. Higher productivity doesn't translate into hiring more people. The class war dialogue works for this and you can bet Kerry will be all over it. Corporations use their profits to buy other corporations and fire people in the process. These numbers this morning are very bad news when combined with the soaring profits. Look for Kerry to hammer on corporate welfare while they sit on piles of profits. Not lost on Kerry will be the 18,000 loss in manufacturing jobs. DEBATE IS HUGE.

And in what could be titled "What Bush Won't Do" Victor Davis Hanson in NRO. Then in hat could be titled "What Bush Won't Say" is in the WSJ by the editors. Then in what should be titled "What Bush Doesn't (or better have) the Balls to Say" just go here for some facts about Saddam bribing French journalists. What Bush needs is "Da Bomb" and he better deliver.

MARKETS: A couple of comments before the jobs numbers come out, which may be very good. The Clintonista spin machine will have us all "interpret the figures" based on total job losses since Bush took office so that they will appear to be as bad as can be (no joy for America from them). The GOP will have us interpret the numbers based on the start of the recovery, which means nearly two million jobs created. It's up to you, based on your own feelings of good and bad, to interpret the numbers.

My feeling is (wrong)that since Bush has said nothing all day Thursday that the numbers are going to be very good, but everything depends on the debate tonight. Bush is done if he delivers another pathetic performance and the market will head so far south it will have ice caps.

But....emailer Carol H calls my attention to a market I never considered. It's sure, it's been around a long time, and your losses in a bear market are less than many conventional investments. Here are the numbers when compared with alternate investments. Start with $1,000 original capital.
If you had purchased $1000.00 of Nortel stock one year ago, it would now be worth $49.00.
With Enron, you would have only had $16.50 left.
With WorldCom, you would have had less than $5.00 left.
But, if you had purchased $1,000.00 worth of Beer one year ago drank all the beer, then turned in the cans for the aluminum recycling REFUND, you would have had $214.00 left.

5:30 JOBS ADD: Just ordinary but far under estimates. 1.2 million new jobs over the past 13 months ain't bad but this is not a strong number.

PART TWO OF The Shadow Government ON FRONT PAGE IS HERE. This network of secret organization memberships and money may be the most dangerous thing to hit this country since communism. Anything secret is dangerous and the secrecy is abetted by the very part of our society that is supposed to expose it: the media. All of us better read this and then figure out how to combat this secret army before we are overwhelmed. Those of you thinking of not blogging after the election have plenty to write about. Plenty. And we all better get on this right now.

THE DEMOCRATS ARE STEALING THE ELECTION; VOLUME 2

IF IT'S NOT CLOSE THEY CAN'T CHEAT
Last Thursday I posted Democrats are Stealing the Election and I forwarded it to Investors Business Daily. On October 6, using their superior research capability, IBD published the following editorial titled ""Integrity Under Fire":
Voter Fraud: With registration drives pushing the envelope and Democrats pushing the "disen-franchisement" myth, it's not easy these days to hold an honest election.

There's trouble brewing in the ballot box this year, and it's not just in Florida. In fact, the land of the hanging chad is under nonstop scrutiny to prevent a repeat of the real recount fiasco and imagined civil-rights abuses of 2000.

For that reason, it may turn out to be the cleanest state, with scandals popping up elsewhere, and under Jimmy Carter's radar.

The emerging story of the 2004 election is voter fraud. Here are some samples of recent funny business in hotly contested states:

• In Ohio, authorities in Lake and Summit counties are looking into more than 1,000 suspect registration forms and absentee-ballot requests, including one attempt to register a dead man. The NAACP's National Voter Fund and the George Soros-backed group Americans Coming Together are probe targets.

Lake County Prosecutor Charles Coulson said: "We've seen voter fraud before, but never on this level."

• In Michigan, officials suspect that two organizations, Public Interest Research Group in Michigan and Project Vote, have been registering nonexistent people or forging applications for already registered voters. Christopher Thomas, the state elections director, said the scale of current voter-registration drives — and the irregularities — were like nothing he had seen before.

• Project Vote is also in trouble in Racine, Wis., where the acting city clerk is seeking a criminal probe after people named on Project Vote applications told her office they hadn't signed the forms.

There's more where this comes from. (Interested readers can get daily updates on voter fraud coverage from blogger Bill Hobbs at billhobbs.com.) Electoral fraud has always been with us, and it hasn't been the province of one party. But, as Coulson and Thomas both noted, it seems to have gone into overdrive this year.

At the same time, election laws and their enforcement aren't keeping up. Congress passed election reform in 2002 that is nudging states toward firmer requirements for voter identification. But the country has nothing close to the kind of uniform and fair rules it should have, such as requiring photo IDs at the polls and proof of U.S. citizenship at registration.

Public opinion is solidly behind such ideas. A recent Rasmussen poll showed that 82% of Americans, including 75% of Democrats, believe "people should be required to show a driver's license or some other form of photo ID before they are allowed to vote."

So why are such rules not universally in the law? Because people who try to enact them run into a buzz saw of racially tinged criticism. They are attacked as if they want to bring back the poll tax.

Sen. John Kerry followed the script while campaigning Sunday in a black church in Cleveland. "In battleground states across the country," Kerry said, "we're hearing stories of how people are trying to make it harder to file for additional time, or how they're making it harder to even register."

Kerry later accused Republicans "in various parts of the country" of trying to suppress votes and bully people.

Some election officials will do their best to keep elections clean, but they'll get little help and a lot of intimidation from those watchdogs looking for "disenfranchisement" that doesn't exist.

Then we have the Democrat version of the Brown Shirts, a duplication of the Nazi control of the streets in the 30s, as they rampage through GOP HQs around the country. Professor Bainbridge keeps reasonable score on the subject. Link courtesy of Reynolds. There can be no accident when the violence covers much of the country. This is now a Democratic tactic spawned by George Soros and his internet band of thugs AND MONEY.

TWO OBSERVATIONS: If Cheney "lied" about meeting Edwards for the first time last night why didn't the brilliant trial lawyer bust him on it?

You have to read the pages and editorial pages of the LA Times to see total bias in action. They have no doubt anywhere in that paper that Edwards undoubtedly trashed Cheney.
To assess Tuesday's vice presidential debate, you must filter out Sen. John Edwards' superiority at skills that have little relevance to running the country. Edwards is one dynamite debater, and no doubt would be as impressive in a debate against Osama bin Laden as he was against Vice President Dick Cheney.
Then this one
Remember that Jim Carrey movie in which he plays a lawyer who can't help but tell the truth, and it keeps getting him in trouble? On Monday, a similar affliction seemed to have struck two central architects of the Bush administration's Iraq policy.
Then this, and remember it's all on the same page.
American withdrawal without victory seems inevitable. It's just a matter of when.
It's all HERE at a site that could be named rawsewage.com

THE BOND MARKET TELLS YOU NOTHING

MARKETS: After 5 days of high volume (yesterday) the rally is as confirmed as it can be and you should be in it. What's happening? I don't "know" but my opinion is that the stock market is taking its cue from the bond market which is heading down, meaning higher rates. Now the bond people hate good news. What good news can theire be? Great GDP and good Jobs numbers this week. You have to consider the players in bond markets. They include banks. Especially banks. And if banks see good borrowing from business for expansion they assume that the jobs and GDP will be up. You can't put this into the bank, but it is what the "thinking" is, which is based on their own data. HOWEVER......BUT.....Banks are sleazy. They could be selling bond futures with the intention of buying them back late Thursday and make a killing both on the short and long sides That is because bad numbers will send bond prices soaring; lower rates because of the bad numbers. That's why this kind of crystal ball gazine is about the worst thing you can do. Just look at your OWN signals and pay no attention to anything else.

AND THE WINNER IS.......

HILLARY CLINTON.......One thing for sure, Hillary is happy as can be. Edwards isn't exactly an empty suit but he doesn't have much to offer. He is a dilettante senator with a poor attendance record just like Kerry. Edwards is not the campaign juggernaut he seemed he might be back in August and may not prove to be much of a threat to her. Cheney clearly won but all he had to do was demonstrate competence, which he did. As I said in my post below, I switched to the ball game because I was bored.

FRONT PAGE has the best piece about the George Soros involvement in the super left I have ever seen. The secrecy of these orgs is astounding. There is big money here and you owe it to yourselves to read it. Even to me, it was shocking. Front Page continues to be at the forefront of deep political reporting.

The debate: Edwards treated this as if Cheney was on trial for murder and he was cross examining him. Cheney shoved the whole thing up his ass. Big mistake by Edwards and it got boring. The questions from super lefty PBS so-called news person Gwen Ifill actually worked in Cheney's favor because he got to knock the usual lefty agenda statements out of the park. Edwards offered nothing for a future other than doubling AIDS money thereby sewing up the crucial homosexual vote (Palm Springs, West Hollywood, and Andrew Sullivan), same sex marriage, and sacking millionaires. The rest of the time he spent on condemnation of Republican so-called crimes. I think nobody really cares about a VP debate, but for those that do Edwards has nothing whatsoever to offer. Particularly telling was Cheney's remark that Edwards attendance in the Senate was so poor that he, Cheney, had never met Edwards until tonight. So Edwards revealed himself ultimately as a crashing bore. I was switching to the Yankees-Twins and eventually stuck with them.

Allowing Gwen Ifill to follow another PBS lefty sucks.

I'm absolutely going to see Team America.

Then there is this post from No Pasaran regarding the revolting post WWII treatment of people De Gaulle thought might rat out everyone who collaborated with the Nazis. It is sickening. France is a morally depraved country. BTW while you're there read more, he has some good stuff up.

RISK--REWARD--CONSEQUENCES IT'S NOT A GAME IN IRAQ

Compare walking a tightrope that is 100 feet above a cement floor with walking a tightrope that is three feet above a mattress. The risk of falling off the tightrope is the same in both cases. But there are two results to consider. First is the result of falling off the tightrope at the two heights. Certain death vs nothing. BUT---Consider the number of people who would pay big money to see you attempt the high wire act above the cement floor; there are the TV rights, the live audience paying several millions, and the endorsements for commercials which will come to the high wire daredevil. There are tens of millions to be had, for you, your agents, and your family should you croak.

The rewards for taking high risks are enormous and the penalty for failure is death or ruin. So it is with Iraq. We have taken the high wire risk and there are elements inside this country who would like us to fall off. Some would like to push us off. They don't want to participate in this effort because they are risk averse as individuals and as groups. These are people who won't take risks for any reward, no matter how large. As a group they are the entitlement class to whom every risk of government money is viewed as stealing from their "entitlement" to that money. The war in Iraq steals their government doles and they view the risk taking class as stealing the money. They won't drill for oil because of the "risk" to the caribou (really because they fear the cost will take from their dole); they won't build nuclear power plants because of the risk; they won't fight for freedom because of the risk, they won't fight for freedom here either. Remember the "Better Dead than Red" left of the 50s; "Hell no I won't Go" in the 60s and 70s.

Now let us examine risk from the POV of a high wire walker who has an iron clad 100 million dollar insurance policy. This guy sees a fabulous future for his family if he falls together with a sure place in Paradise. Now what is the risk the wire walker is taking? It is zero, and that is what we face with the terrorists. They see a better future in death than in life. They are taking no risk whatsoever no matter the outcome of their suicide attack.

It follows that we must put real risk into their game. The Israelis are going after the families of suicide bombers as well as their friends and the higher ups so as to put plenty of risk into the "game." How dirty do we want to get? It should be a no brainer if we felt that the Terrorists were actually a threat to us. Right now we don't. 9/11 is viewed as something that "cannot" happen again by the risk averse crowd.

Even worse, how serious do Bush and the Administration take it?

MARKETS: Those of you who tracked Johnson's recs yesterday see how good he is. The volume in the stock market is very good but another Bush debacle will probably shoot it down.

The JOBS numbers on Friday are very important. Keep in mind that Bush will know the numbers before the debate because both the Fed and the White House have them early. This could shape the debate and the election. I saw some blogger claim to have secret info on the numbers. He is a liar. Nobody has ever had the Jobs numbers early. Ever.

The Jobless and first time claims that come out on Thursday will include all the hurricane victims and can't be taken as a serious stat.

We're going to have an interesting week. If Bush does something besides stick his head up his ass AND we have a big Jobs number the market could explode.

If you doubt the KGB is back in charge inside Russia: from jihadwatch

Moscow police intercepted a car packed with explosives in central Moscow on Saturday and said they had thwarted a terrorist attack, Russian media reported.

Police found a 200-gram block of TNT, two anti-personnel landmines and a 20-liter canister with gasoline along with detonators and an electronic operating device in an old Lada.

A suspect arrested at the scene told investigators he was offered $1,000 to take the car to a major thoroughfare President Vladimir Putin uses to travel to and from the Kremlin, news agencies and television said, quoting security forces. The Kommersant daily has cited an unnamed source in the law enforcement agencies as saying that the suspect, whose name was reported as Pumane was a Russian naval officer on a submarine.

The daily also reported that the car in which the explosives were found was registered in the name of a woman who supposedly was a wife of a Chechen rebel.

Pumane died in hospital six hours after questioning. Initial reports said the man had suffered a heart attack, but shortly afterwards it was reported that he had bean beaten to death, apparently during the interrogation.
Jihad Watch has quite a few good posts up. Suggest you visit because today is a slow news day unless Mt St. Helens blows.

For those few lunatics out there who like to trade futures, I suggest you send a request for a free two week trial to: Markj10647@aol.com

Here is today's, Monday October 4, trade recs for just one of his trading programs. Keep in mind that there is very high risk in trading futures and if you don't really know your shit plese ignore this post. I will not publish anything from Mr. Johnson again. As you will learn from a free trial, this guy is awesome.

REPUBLICANS WEAR BLACK

More debate comment from my wide circle of friends, acquaintances, customers, and family. Very interesting in that younger couples with family, homework, feeding babies, and so on either didn't watch the debate or only caught part of it. Some younger people taped it for watching later. All Republicans are really upset with the performance of Bush and are depressed. Kerry partisans (not the nutcase 40%) are not that elated because many recognize that Iraq is important and Kerry "doesn't have a clue." I get the feeling that Bush's sorry presentation cannot be overcome. Iraq and the middle east is the most pressing issue of our time and Bush flat blew it. Many wished for Tony Blair. If Kerry wins it is all over, but how can we expect the man we saw opposing Kerry last Thursday night to lead anyone anywhere? I think this could be a tragedy for the country. Bush owes all of America more, but as I have pointed out ad nauseam on this site, Bush is the least articulate politician we may have ever had in the presidency. At least in my lifetime. The few people who thought Bush "won" are those with deeply held views about the Iraq war and Islamofascism. I'm depressed too. I'm glad that I can go to the USC-Cal game and my choice of playoff games so I don't have to think about it. Did Kerry cheat? Who gives a fuck? It doesn't change the lethargic Bush appearance.

10/3/2004

The Kerry, or should I say the Bush, debate performance is now showing up in almost all the polls. You cannot rationalize that inept display. The President is supposed to KNOW things and Bush appeared not to know. I'm still a Bush guy but reality is reality. One more debate like the last one and it's all over.

Sports in the Big City can be a one of the best feel good things ever. Both of our baseball teams are in the post season playoffs and tickets are being sold for $500 per seat. The USC-Cal college football game has sold out (92,000) and tickets are going for $1,500 per. It has been twenty years since we last had a truly big football game around here so this is like deja vu all over again for football fans.

High School football is getting big again (it's never been anything but big in Texas) as FOX is televising games nationally. But this brings us to recruiting teen and pre-teen kids to play at certain schools. The big money for football can best be seen in the salaries high school athletic directors are commanding at private schools. I personally know of one guy who was lured from a college for a salary of 80K per plus bennies. This is for a high school. The serious downside in all this is that the public schools within the city of Los Angeles cannot compete because they do not have the facilities. It's no accident that the power house private schools of mostly white kids are blowing away the city schools which are composed of mostly black kids. One look at the million dollar facilities at the private schools tells plenty. This last weekend the best public high school in the area, the near legendary Long Beach Poly (twenty five grads in the NFL), got totally destroyed by an Orange County school composed of 90% whites including the backs and wide receivers. LA City schools are composed of thugs, drug dealers, and the less able players because the really good ones are in private schools. There is big money in high school football. This is a good thing and a bad thing. I don't know what this tells us about our society, if anything.

The wave of beheadings and other executions in Iran is being reported in the Weekly Standard, and no other publication that I know of (National Review??). You could do yourselves a favor to drop by activistchat a few times per week to stay informed.

Look for a huge black market..... The Vioxx ban ain't good news for people in pain. Vioxx was the only drug available when I was in literal agony before my hip repolacement. The warning labels were very clear about the dangers of using the drug continuously beyond six months. Vioxx is being banned because people who use it for a YEAR AND A HALF end up having problems. If you need pain relief for a year and a half you either need surgery or other drugs. The real problem is that pain relieving drugs are not legal so that people in pain go nuts. Vioxx will be missed by those on pain. Really missed. But the black market will fill the void as surely as there's cocaine in Beverly Hills.

THE MARKETS VIEW THE DEBATE

Make no mistake, yesterday's rally was big and put together with prior days we have big volume. Big. The market is saying that Bush "won" the debate. Now before you go into your girl friend's savings account, reflect a little. The Wall Street crowd is too smart by half. Filled to the East River with doctorates, math geniuses, hackers, and thieves. I get to read their "secret" output in some newsletters and they all reek with intelligence.
Kerry proved that he will seek UN approval before the U.S. can act. America will never accept that.
He can't double the Special forces without lowering standards and everybody knows that. He wants to feminize our best fighters.
He will raise taxes and nobody will stand for that.
Trust me, these guys are so full of shit their eyes are brown. Half the people pay no Federal Income Tax; half the people don't have a clue about the UN (they're taking the UN and the points this weekend), they don't even know who their representatives are; 30% are illiterate (studies are showing that 30% of our population can't read a bus schedule); and at least 40% hate their own country ( Frisco it's 85.6%). Wall Street is betting that once the debate is digested somehow Bush will be the winner. Winner doesn't count. Perceptions are what count. I want to see more volume confirmation for a few days yet. Buy only if all your ducks are in a row, and I mean all. Sell when your sell signals show. This semi-bull could end with the letters "i" and "t" and Wall Street is infamous for that.

A THOUSAND DEAD AMERICANS DESERVE BETTER THAN THE MAN WHO SPOKE ON THURSDAY NIGHT

Debate results from the belly of the beast: I work in a middle class atmosphere and we deal with a lower class customer base. None of our customers watched the debate at all. Among the people at work only one person watched the entire debate, most only watched the first 30 to 45 minutes, and a few switched between two football games and the debate. Since the viewership was 45 million I have to assume that the entire middle through upper income part of our country watched a good part of the debate. Nobody among my friends or people at work thought Bush did any better than tie. Did votes change? No, but Bush has lost a big edge.

Most felt that Bush was mentally dull, didn't deal with Kerry at all, and showed lack of interest about what was going on. Back 1992 his father seemed he was out of touch with the country so we basically fired him. There is no excuse for the performance the President of the United States put on. He didn't think on his feet and perhaps he cannot think on his feet is the only conclusion people reached. This is the guy who didn't fight in Faluja. The guy who let Saddr become a full blown menace. He revealed a very indecisive side. Bush voters are shrugging and the Kerry people are nodding with an I told you he was a moron" POV. I didn't sense a switch in votes but I sensed a lack of confidence about Bush's ability among people leaning that way.

One more performance like this and we will have President Kerry, make no mistake about it, and Iraq will be taken over by Islamofascists. No possible excuse can be made for the terrible performance. The thousand plus Americans are dead and ten times that many wounded, not to mention the hundreds of Iraquis killed each week, deserve much better than the lethargic leader who put himself on display Thursday night. My perception of the debate is one shared by less than ten percent of the people I spoke with yesterday.

Arnold would have kicked the shit out of both of them.

KERRY WARNS OF NEW ICE AGE: "The bombs and gunpowder used in Iraq have caused the hole in the ozone which heats our earth to shrink by 20%," said the French looking Kerry from a nail salon in Apalachia. The news HERE has sent shock waves through Harvard, Yale, and Stanford. Angry students set fire to a Bush/Cheney sticker that was affixed to an SUV outside of a Bush re-election office in Palo Alto while Harvard students, fearing their aging parents might freeze to death in their palatial homes in the desert community of Palm Springs, staged a "ur-in" on the street daring police to stop them. The Harvard Police, who are on strike for higher wages, just stood by doing nothing. The Harvard dean asserted that the Leftist faculty will never negotiate with uniformed gun toting fascists and the police must disarm before any wage discussions can take place.........Developing

Don't know if this is wishful thinking, but activistchat is reporting widespread armed conflicts inside Iran. This could be happening but if you read my post "Iran, if You've Seen the Gofather You'll Understand" on the terrible mafia type ruling class in Iran I think you must take all of this with a serious container of salt. Anyway an interesting series of reads over there. And remember, it was impossible to overthrow......................

The increasingly tedious acid in your face Anne Coulter, actually has an interesting read up today. All about actual facts regarding past NYT rationalizations of posistive GOP poll leads. If you're looking for "a funny thing happened to me on the way to watching Kerry kill himself" piece you will be disappointed.

The NYT just loved Kerry in the debate, which means that real people see Bush as the winner. And Paul Krugman, who has bent over for the Democrats so many times that his anus has become large enough to allow a donkey into his bowels, just hated Bush. Even better for real people.

From my inner yahoo:
If Bush or Kerry were Jesus there would be no Christianity.
If Jim Leher were Clarence Darrow his clients would have all gotten the chair.
What the fuck were they talking about?
I wonder if there's a good movie on Turner Classic? (There wasn't)
Navy looked really good on their first drive. Ordinary after that.
The Dodgers have clinched it.
Kerry ain't orange any more.
Islamofacism? What's that?
Where do these guys stand on Indian gaming?
Arnold would have destroyed them both.
